In my book “New Moon” by Stephenie Meyer, I believe that the five greatest tensions is the romantic tension between Edward and Bella, when Bella almost dies because she jumps of a cliff, when starts to really fall for Bella, Bella doesn’t notice that he is, because she is beautiful to him and he loves being around her and because she makes him feels special when she gives him attention, and when the Volturi tries to kill Bell because she knows too much about vampires and because they fear that she would exploit them .

The romantic tension between Edward and Bella is one of the greatest tensions because Bella and Edwards love for each other is non-negotiable and to a certain extent this alters the feel of the story. Bella and Edwards love grows but, there is always something or someone trying to destroy their love for each other. Bella is Edward’s whole life and he would not let anyone, anything, or even himself hurt her because she means so much to him.

Also, one of the greatest tensions is when Bella almost dies because she jumps off a cliff because Edward left her and she become delusional, so she thinks the only way she can see him is if she puts herself in danger. She tries to come back up out of the water but big waves keeps knocking her back in the water and she nearly drowns. But, in the end Jacob comes and saves her before she drowns and takes her to safety on the beach. This is one of the greatest tensions because deaf threatens to break Edward and Bella apart.

Another greatest tension is when Jacob starts to really fall in love with Bella. Jacob had feelings for Bella since the first day she arrived in Forks but, he didn’t know how to show it. Every day that he sees her, his love grows more and more for Bella. But, the problem is that Bella is in love with a vampire by the name of Edward, his worst enemy. Jacob fears that Bella would never love him like he loves her and, that because she dates

Furthermore, it is the tension of conflict that prevents the characters from sharing moments of true intimacy. During a scene in Act One, Stephen tries to reveal to Judy some of the lowest points in his adolescence. However, neither can move beyond their contradicting beliefs about the relationship their parents shared; and inevitably begin arguing. Therefore, the characters cannot share intimate moments because of their misunderstanding of each other's beliefs, which then leads to conflict.…

”Tension is the force which drives a drama. It is said to be the most important element, and no drama exists without some form of tension.” (Haseman et al, 1986) Tension of relationships was shown in the play as one relationship affected another. All the characters were intertwined. Tension of the task is closely linked to tension of surprise as the surprise came from the task. Molly’s aim that day was to shoot Margot Mason, for causing her and her mother so much trouble. The audience wasn’t sure whether Molly would actually shoot, when she suddenly blasted a hole in the roof, and shattered a vase.…

In Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola’s right of passage screenplay, Moonrise Kingdom, the connection of Sam & Suzy advances. The protagonist Sam Shukusky, is an orphan and seems to be misunderstood and he seeks a family throughout the play. There are three ways Sam and Suzy connect with each other, both are misunderstood, they feel unloved, and love one another. This essay will show how Sam and Suzy connect with each other. The first connection between Sam and Suzy is that they are misunderstood. Sam’s scouts and foster family do not understand him. The scouts and foster family think he is crazy and emotionally disturbed. When Mr.Billingsley and Captain Sharp are on the phone Mr.Billingsley says “He’s a good boy, he’s got a good heart but it’s not fair to the others you see? He’s emotionally disturbed. The Billingsley do not really understand Sam and neither do the scouts. When the scouts found Sam and Suzy the first time Deluca stats to Suzy “you shouldn’t be friends with him...because he’s crazy.” Seems like everyone has their own opinion about Sam. Redford even says “He’s emotionally disturbed because his family died.” Nobody really knows Sam’s problems but Sam, same for Suzy. Suzy is the only person who knows how she feels about her own life. Suzy’s family do not understand her. “She eats a bowl of tomato soup alone in the pantry.” Suzy likes to be alone and reading her books about lives she will like to have. Suzy found a pamphlet on top of the refrigerator named “Coping with a Troubled Child” and Suzy feels as if her parents think she has problems. That is why Suzy is depressed. The second connection is that Sam and Suzy feel unloved from their families. Sam’s foster family doesn’t really care for him. When Sam was writing each other Suzy “Five of Sam’s foster brothers watch calmly as the sixth throws Sam against the wall then jumps on top of him, pinning his arms to the floor while Sam struggles crazily.” His foster family is not nice…

Romeo and Juliet are that couple always standing in the middle of the hallway, locked in a tight embrace, mesmerized by each other and blind to the rest of the world. They’re so passionate and hopelessly attracted to each other that their minds can’t comprehend the hordes of people scrambling around them rushing off to class. Crowds push and shove them into corners and lockers, but the couple’s eyes’ are still locked on each other. This causes a massive collision right in the middle of the busiest hallway in school. Teenagers sprawled on the ground slowly rise up, giving the couple irritated glares, brush off their pants and hurry down the hall. Romeo and Juliet’s unrelenting adoration for each other causes tragic and terrible consequences, due to their rash decisions and ignorance to the world around them. In Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare demonstrates to the reader how love leads to irrational decisions because of its blinding nature. The author does this by using light vs dark imagery, as light is hate and darkness is love. Light blinds Romeo and Juliet from making reasonable decisions, but darkness further increases their love for one another. Through the use of the themes of light vs dark, Shakespeare is able to transform hate into love, which occurs due to the pressures of family and romantic love.…

Romeo and Juliet still continue their relationship because their love is so strong. When they are together, nothing else matters. Hacht states, “The love between them could not be touched or hindered.” (Hacht 764). They both realize that they are risking their lives to be together. They continue their relationship because they are so deeply in love that nothing else matters to…
