The Nerdy Starcat’s diet is very different among regular fishes and seafood in the deep blue sea. Its diet depends on the type of day it is. On Mondays, it eats the one heart of a whale, the one fin of a dolphin, and a two strawberry cheesecakes. On Tuesdays, the Nerdy Starcat eats the three shark lungs, twenty shrimps and a three grilled cheese sandwiches. On Wednesdays, the unknown deep sea creature eats five strips of bacon, one two-foot fried fish, and six tiramisus. In addition, on Thursdays, the Nerdy Starcat eats at least twenty-five shrimps, two sharks, and one catfish. However, on Fridays, it doesn’t eat any kind of meat. On Fridays, the Nerdy Starcat eats two pounds of yogurt and five chocolate cakes. Adding on to the Nerdy Starcat’s …show more content…
One of those creatures is the mighty king of the ocean which is the killer whale. The killer whale blends in with the color of the ocean making it very difficult for the Nerdy Starcat to see and escape. Moreover, the underwater rhinoceros is the main predator to the Nerdy Starcat. It is the fastest swimmer in the ocean according to multiple studies. The Nerdy Starcat may be fast, but the underwater rhinoceros is five times faster. With such speed, the underwater rhinoceros easily gets to and eats the Nerdy Starcat. Lastly, another predator that preys on the Nerdy Starcat is the aqua rabbit. The aqua rabbit is a very poisonous creature in the deep sea. Though it may be slower than the Nerdy Starcat, the aqua rabbit found a way in the last few years to eat the deep sea creature in its sleep. One bite meant that the Nerdy Starcat would die within two minutes. The Nerdy Starcat has an extremely weak immune system and can easily be killed by such poison. Because this poison can only kill the Nerdy Starcat, the aqua rabbit only preys on it. Therefore, the Nerdy Starcat eats many different types of food found in the ocean and is also a meal for other predators in the

The simulation when all predators were present. The reason is because when predators, specifically starfish, are present the mussel population along with populations of all the rest are able to be controlled. This results in mussels not taking over using their competitive dominance allowing other prey to thrive so that the other predators can survive and be part of the ecological diversity.…

The primary swimming form of the Orangespotted Sunfish is labriform because they row their pectoral fins, an oscillatory fin motion. The mouth of these fish are terminal and moderately large. A terminal mouth allows this species to be a benthic and surface feeder. Their gill rakers are long and slender with space between them. This allows for particles in the water that flow into the mouth of the fish that they do not want to eat, to flush out. It indicates that the food of this fish is medium to large sized compared to their body. This correlates with an omnivorous diet and the ability to consume small and large prey. Daphnia and Cyclops are crustaceans often found in this species’ diet. Also, they help with mosquito control by feeding on mosquito larvae. The eyes of the Orangespotted Sunfish are corrected for spherical aberration, meaning they are a visual fish and need sight to find their prey. Since their prey is small fish and crustaceans, good eyesight is important to find them in the murky water that they live in. The Orangespotted Sunfish has adapted traits to better thrive in it’s…

Throughout my four years of high school, I have consistently pushed myself beyond my limits and comfort zones in attempt to discover my place in the world. I believe I have grown into a tenacious, sympathetic, and joyous young man that the entire school has seen develop, and I am honored…

The Leafy Sea Dragon is a marine fish in the family Syngnathidae, which includes the seahorses. The name comes from the long leaf-like growths on its body. Sea dragons are some of the most-well camouflaged creatures on the planet. They blend perfectly with the seaweed and kelp that they live in. Leafy sea dragons don't live on tropical reefs, but in the cooler rocky reefs off the southern coast of Australia. Despite their name, seadragons don’t have any teeth. They suck their food with their long mouths, just like seahorse. Their diet consists of Small invertebrates, including shrimps and other zooplankton. Sea dragons' mouths work like straws. A sea dragon waits until its prey ventures near, then sucks it up. Each day, a single sea dragon may eat up to a thousand creatures. Sea dragons have a thin tails which cannot be used for gripping. They have small, transparent dorsal and pectoral fins that propel and steer them through the water, but they just tumble and drift in the current like seaweed.…

Some of the images offered on funny cat websites are not all that funny on their own. What makes these images so amusing is the choice of words that the photographer, or website owner, attaches to the image. For instance, you may not find a picture of a cat standing on its back paws, batting at some unseen toy particularly funny, but if you add the caption "High five!", it suddenly takes on a new level of humor. Giving funny pictures good captions is essential to the effectiveness of the picture.…
