Throughout my four years of high school, I have consistently pushed myself beyond my limits and comfort zones in attempt to discover my place in the world. I spent most of first two years discovering who I was as an individual, ultimately manifesting into inspiration for success. I grew out of “fitting in” and decided to turn my life and aspirations towards a greater direction; on this road of discovery, I separated myself from those who valued arrogance and indifference. “Nerd Squad” is what I am a part of today, which is why I am currently confident enough to apply for the National Honors Society Scholarship. I believe I have grown into a tenacious, sympathetic, and joyous young man that the entire school has seen develop, and I am honored

    The Honors Program grabbed my attention because it’s for academically outstanding students and I am that student. Throughout my years of high school, I have taken Advanced Placement and Honors classes and have done very well in them.
