Neptune is the eight planet from the sun. Neptune is the outermost plant of the gas giants. Neptune has a very different surface than most of the planet. Neptune has a very thin rings of ice. Neptune does not have any life, but its weather there is very active. Large storms usually occur there. Neptune has a rocky inner core which have water around. Neptune’s atmosphere has hydrogen, helium and methane.

Neptune has rings around it. Neptune has 5 rings which are Galle, Le Verrier, Lassell, Arago, and Adams but rings are important because of thin and dark. The weather on Neptune is some of the most violent weather in the solar system. In Neptune the weather is very fast winds and powerful storms driven by internal heat. Neptune has the wildest and strangest weather in the entire Solar System. It has huge storms with extremely high winds. Its atmosphere has dark spots which come and go, and bright cirrus-like clouds which change rapidly. Neptune has an average temperature of -353 Fahrenheit. On Earth sunlight drives our weather, but Neptune is so far away that it receives a thousand times less sunlight than Earth does.

Neptune has 13 moons which makes Neptune more far away. One is triton which is the biggest and largest one. Triton has active volcanoes and slightly smaller than the earth. Some of the other moons of Neptune are Nereid, Proteus, Larissa, Despina, Galatea, Thalassa, and Naiad. These moons are much smaller than Triton and, except for Nereid. Six moons orbit are very close to Neptune, one orbit is extreme elliptical orbit nereid, one orbit backwards triton.
