Nekomata
Telepathy would be an asset, or at least ESP. Coordinating events across far-flung worlds, and even space-time dimensions is a challenge. The only tool at our disposal is careful planning and timing. Petchy, Fitz and Teena intend to draw Gharlane out and bring him here.
Terrific plan, there's only two flaws; we have no idea where Gharlane might be, or what might draw him.
The core plan hinged on the belief that our quarry's agents monitored the media on worlds he targeted. Perhaps he has agents on Klovia who keep him appraised, or perhaps he pops in from time to time and takes a look around. Although there is no evidence any of his agents have a way to contact him, we surmise the former. He always contacts them, as far as we can tell. Evidence

We can form a Portal from Klovia to Nekomata and travel through it. Departing Nekomata is another matter. We cannot form a Portal from Nekomata to anywhere. Without access to the cosmic Dark Energy from Nekomata, departure is impossible. Travel to Nekomata is a one-way proposition. Leaving Nekomata requires accessing one of the few natural portals. The cause suggests the hypothesis that Nekomata is somehow in a different Universe. Or a different dimension, somehow rendering the Dark Energy out of reach.
Mobilizing Asheran resources to close those natural portals is Alex'sresponsibility. Nekomata will be our trap. We will lure Gharlane here with intent to kill him. Is this first degree murder? Or self-defense? Whether we kill him or not, we can not leave this place. The security protocol dictates a one-way trip. Once the trap springs, there is no possibility of transport until he's confirmed dead.
That presents a problem; how do we confirm he is dead? And how do we communicate that to the Asherans keeping the Portals closed? The answer is, we don't; Alex has a few contingency plans, but it's not my problem. I cannot know about such plans, if any. Knowledge I lack, Gharlane cannot extract.
A life-sentence on Nekomata is part of the deal I accepted when I accepted this

Background and Facts: The Japanese Navy, on December 7, 1941, attacked the United States at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the U.S. Congress declared war on Japan that same day. Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor came with a great degree of consequences. One of those consequences was Executive Order 9066 which gave the Secretary of War the right to designate “military zones” where the government had the authority to exclude any person or group that was thought to be a possible threat to the United States and its war with Japan. Unfortunately, many of the military zones were parts of the United States, where many American citizens, which happened to be Japanese, lived.…

2). In the story, he broke matal and snaped chains with ease. He is too dangerous and could possibly hurt other people, whether it be on accident or on purpose. If he hurts someone, the people could get scared and also the government would have to deal with him possibly costing H-G men an money. The loss of money could hert the economy, and although it wouldnt be that bad, a lot of examples in history shows that little actions could end up destroying something. So the government could get hurt in the long…

As he came to its entrance the most repulsive and pungent smell he had ever encountered assaulted his nose. The disgusting stench pervaded his entire body; it left him retching violently. His stomach churned and even as he scrambled backwards, away from the dark opening, it was at least ten minutes before he could breathe normally again. What on earth could be in there to create such a foul reek? Nothing but a mountain of unnameable filth piled high enough to touch the ceiling of the cavernous hole could cause it.…

As I was reading this article I could not help but wonder if Thompson was describing a real culture or if this was a work of fiction. I could not understand why this Nacerima society would want to change the environment so much. I was also wondering how a culture that was ancient enough to be studied through the artifacts that were discovered through exploratory digs could possibly be advanced enough to have electronic security systems, erected steel sculptures in the sea, and box-like images that receive transmitted electronic –impulse images. I was at first, picturing an Indian-like tribe. When Thompson explained the significance of the Elibomotua during mating rituals and courtship I thought, “This Elibomutua sounds very similar to a car.” Just then, I had an epiphany. Elibomutua is automobile spelled backwards and Nacerima is American spelled backwards. I then proceeded to reread the article with my newfound knowledge.…

An archetype is a symbol that appears in literature, but there are also generalized patterns of archetypes that can be found through time and across cultures. When we study literature, these symbolic threads can be seen in plot elements, the setting or background, and/or character development. The development of these characters in a work of literature may be done on an unconscious level by the author, the author may recognize a pattern in work and further build upon it--to accomplish a desired dramatic effect. The film I decided to write about as an example is Nemo, the Disney motion picture.…

Recently, along the Nebulosas Chain, a string of islands which boasts a dense fog and extraordinary marine life and dots across the the Oceanus Tempestatus from the Digitus Peninsula of Illysium to the shores of Obscurata, four excavations have been undertaken in a bid by Illysium to claim ownership over the isles. While ownership may be impossible for archaeologists to prove, the recovered artifacts and faunal assemblage suggest a strong relationship between subsistence practices and changes in tool technology. Based upon the radiocarbon dates, the absolute date of the volcanic eruption at 3870 ± 40 B.P. as well as the recovered tool kits, I have distinguished between three separate prehistoric periods based upon tool technology:…
