Basketball is now the third most powerful sport behind the NFL and most teams were worth over 1 billion dollars in 2016. The New York Knick are first on the forbes list of NBA with 3 billion dollars. Not to mention that NBA has made a big influence on kids in high school kids also. Kids try their best to achieve there dream to be in the NBA from high school to college to the NBA draft. Only few are chosen to be in the NBA but anything is possible. Michael Jordan has made it to the NBA but has also made mistakes as dropping out his sophomore basketball team but has still made it from South Carolina to the NBA draft for MVP of many years while others havent made it to college from high school without getting dropped for a year. Other new players like Zach Lavine has became stars at a very young age. The Minnesota Timberwolves consists of the youngest team but still achieves goals with their young team against such older balanced age teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers.
