National Junior Honor Society Essay Examples

I feel honored to achieve the National Junior Honor Society award, ever since I received the letter informing me about how I earned the award I was very excited. This award means a lot to me and I have set high goals all school year ever since hearing about it. Every day I come to school and set high goals for myself whether it’s to earn all A’s, learn something new, or get an award. I feel education is very important and so far all this school year I only have been absent once and I’ve never been late. However, I don’t think all the credit should go to me, if it weren't for my parents I wouldn’t have gotten myself to where I am today. Their belief in me to achieve greatness inspires me. Throughout my life, they also helped answer all my questions, and still do. All though it’s not just my parents who deserve the credit the amazing teachers who have taught me throughout my entire life deserve some credit too, without their amazing teaching skills I wouldn’t be earning this award today.
Some of the qualities include determination, helpfulness, and hardworking. I know the quality determination makes me who I am today because every day I’m determined to achieve the goals I’ve set for myself like to achieve awards like the National Junior Honor Society award and to achieve high grades and higher grades than I have today. I also know the quality makes me who I am today because I’m always determined to come to school and try my best. Helpfulness makes me who I am today as well, I know this because during the summer and today I help with tasks for my neighbors or mom and occasionally do community service.
