National Honor Society Essay

Leadership Characteristics 
 
I would be a valuable member to NHS because I have the ability set examples and  exceed expectations in academics.  I am also a hard worker and a great role model who  always helps others.  I am interested in joining the organization because I am confident in  my leadership qualities and want to help the community.  I plan to demonstrate  leadership, develop character, and create enthusiasm for academic excellence while  participating in NHS.  Whenever I set a goal, I am certain to achieve it.  With my  outstanding personality and traits, I plan to be useful to NHS and St. Louis High School.  I have an assortment of traits that make me an outstanding role model and that  would also help promote leadership.  As a new addition to NHS, I vow to help my fellow  classmates study and reach their full potential.  I am on the honor roll, and possess a  variety of study skills and habits that I can pass on to others.  I am also a patient and  open­minded person, making it easy for me to get along with people.  I can work well  either individually or on a team.  As a bonus, I am willing to stay after school or come in  early to help tutor students, and can adjust my schedule according to when NHS needs  additional people.  I promise to utilize my leadership skills and work with other NHS  members to achieve success for the organization.
