Narrative Speech (Dinner Date)
Specific Speech Goal: To inform my classmates on which three people I would go on a dinner date with and why.
Introduction
I. The three people that I have chosen for my dinner date have influenced billions of people at one point or another. II. Some may even influence you today. III. But the main reason I chose them was because of the unique perspectives they would have on their own lives that they would share with me.
Thesis: Three people that I would most enjoy dinner with are Alexander the Great, former President, Bill Clinton, and former Alaskan Governor/Vice-presidential candidate, Sarah Palin.

I. Alexander the Great A. Macedonian 1. I am Macedonian and very proud of my heritage 2. Background information of Macedonia B. Why I look up to him 1. I am a huge history buff 2. United continents, created the largest empire in history, and conquered the Greeks (we don’t like Greeks), etc. C. What I would ask him 1. How leading an empire was 2. What he thought of Greeks

Bush) 3. AND had the highest end-of-office approval rating of any president since WWII C. Great guy to chill and talk politics with over lunch
