NARRATIVE REPORT IN JMC FOOTBALL CUP
WEST DISTRICT SECONDARY

This first ever JMC FOOTBALL CUP was spearheaded by Honorable Mayor Joaquin M. Chipeco Jr. and with the help of Laguna Football Federation. The main objective of this competition is to develop football players in Calamba City the home town of our National Hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal who will represent our country in international football competition.
As instructed by Dr. Vivian L. Frias EPS-1 MSEP/MAPEH Division of Calamba City all District Coordinator elementary and secondary will monitor the ongoing training of players in the forthcoming Joaquin M. Chipeco Football Cup in Calamba City, Laguna.
Monitoring started last November 5, 2011 at West District. First school visited was Camp Vicente Lim National High School under the supervision of Ma’am Celeste Perea who attended the football seminar last October 2011. But the CVL football team was not able to practice because Ma’am Celeste Perea was practicing the Cheer dancers in preparation for City Meet 2011.
Punta National High School was not able to practice on the last November 5, 2011 because Sir Dennis Roa coach of Punta national High School was scheduled his checkup and no one will monitor his team in that day. That’s why he instructed his players not to practice in this day.
Next school was Palo Alto National High School. The said team was practicing at Pacific Hill subdivision nearby school. The team has trainer to train the players to become more competitive before the said football competition. They want to be sure to conquer the first ever trophy of JMC Football League. Palo Alto football team was under the leadership of Sir Francis Serafines.
The Kapayapaan National High School football team was practicing at school covered court. The team started their practice at 7:00am till 3:30pm. The players of this team were exited that’s why they were all present during the first day of training. This team was headed by Mr. Dindo Fernando.

    Initially, my understanding of soccer was very minimal compared to what the coach, Ahmad, had to teach us. I saw the game of soccer from a brand new perspective after practicing with him. General terms like “man-to-man” and “wing cross”, both widely known among soccer players, were very new to me. Coach Ahmad also had special code words like “the three eagles” that he gave to different plays, that way we could communicate loudly with the other players without the opponents figuring out our strategy.
