Narrative Essay On The Pillow
The basement. It’s like the Statue of Liberty, a place of freedom. Where all the troubles I experienced that day could be completely ignored. I don’t have to worry about anything while I’m there. What do I do when I’m down in the basement? I usually play on my Xbox but there is also a ping-pong table and an air-hockey table. On the Xbox, it feels like you’re in an alternate world, like a dream. When night comes (around 9:30 PM), one of two things usually happens. I either go upstairs and go to bed because I have school the next day. If I don’t have school then I usually go back down to the there for a couple more hours before going to bed. Guinness. When the sun comes up he is still laying down in his bed, soft and fuzzy, like a feather. Eventually, he gets up. Covered in hair, soft and brown, like a brown burrito. Colorful cotton. When you lay your head down, you will immediately submerge into it. The two ends of it raise making the pillow turn into the shape of a “u.”
My sister uses a memory foam pillow. When you rest your head on it, you gently sink into the blue pillow. After you get up, you are able to see a imprint, nearly perfect, right where you placed your head.
The pillow that I use is made out of fleece. Fuzzy fleece. Supports your head so you don’t descend into it. It is unlike the pillows that my family uses, you rest on top of it. Since it’s made of fleece, fuzzy and warm, you won’t get cold at night. The walls of my house are bodyguards. Large and wide, the walls act as a protector to the things located inside the house just like a bodyguard protecting the person who he is supposed to protect. Strength. Since my walls are so strong, they’re able to support the entire house just like a bodyguard must be strong so he is able to protect someone. The walls are very large just like a bodyguard must be large to intimidate anyone who might attack the person who is he
