Narrative Essay On Hope Valley
That actually leads me into my next question. I think Faith has had a great arc. Seeing her from where she was when we first met her to now, she has grown so much. I think she is much more confident in herself now, versus that girl who had just left her fiancé and was finding her footing in a new town. She also had an awkward relationship with Elizabeth, but now they're good friends. What's it like for you as an actress to be able to portray that arc and her journey?

Andrea: That's such a good question! I think the way that Faith is getting settled in Hope Valley kind of mimics my experience getting acquainted with the cast, the crew, the show and the hearties. It's kind of been a parallel experience. I always say that the first day on a new

Just the fact that they trust you and there's this communal feeling even among the executives and everyone is on the same page. Everyone knows each other, which is so neat! You instantly feel this bond and I had never really experienced that before. I think of Hallmark like the old studio system in Hollywood where actors were contracted to a studio. Of course we're not only contracted to Hallmark, we do work on other networks, but there's a really close bond between everyone that works on the shows and movies. It has been a huge …show more content…
Any chance to see you on Supergirl again?

There are a lot of discussions going on. Obviously Supergirl is going into season 3 and my character, Eve, is still very much a part of that universe. I still have some more things coming up with that this season. That was one of the hard things this year, because I was bouncing back and forth between When Calls the Heart and Supergirl. They were shooting at the same time for a while and it got a little crazy. I am in talks for a series, potentially, but it's just a lot of talks right now, nothing completely confirmed. There's a lot happening! It's a busy time up here in Vancouver! I am not complaining! (Laughs)

Not only is Andrea extremely talented and beautiful, but she has an even more beautiful heart that radiates love, kindness, and humility. It was so lovely getting to speak with Andrea! Her warm smile immediately invites you in and makes you feel like you're speaking with a great friend. It always makes me so happy to see such successful individuals be able to keep themselves grounded in a society that tends to boost your ego quite easily. Andrea serves as an excellent role model for young girls to look up to in a time where we need more positive influences in the media. It is clear that Andrea has a long and bright future ahead of her, and I am eager to see where her journey goes. Make sure to stay up-to-date with everything Andrea is doing by following her on all

Okay, let's get the "elephant in the room" out of the way first thing. As all Hearties have seemingly been dreading, Nurse Faith returns to the show in this episode. Yes, Andrea comes back to reprise her role, and she is as radiant and sweet as she was in the role last season. Jack is inadvertently the one who "welcomes" her to Hope Valley, and for both of them, it is one awkward meeting. That is, until she announces that she is engaged. Okay, Hearties, you can temporarily breathe a sigh of relief. If anything, she is a threat to Rosemary, but not romantically speaking (you will understand that later). Andrea has the ideal look for a polished, fresh, young nurse, but as far as I'm concerned,…

SCTC's season of "Faith" is being produced as a thank you to the audience that has helped the theatre grow in Camden New Jersey for a decade. The tenth season highlights plays that explore faith in many different ways from traditional faith as well as faith in relationships and each other's humanity. Set in Brooklyn in 1938, Arthur Miller's Tony Award nominated BROKEN GLASS gives the audience a portrait of Jewish couple and their life in America at a time when storm clouds were gathering over Europe. Phillip Gellburg's wife Sylvia suddenly loses her ability to walk and the only clue to her ailment seems to lie in news accounts from Germany.…

The script’s tone is light-hearted and the story explores the themes of following one’s dream and learning to believe in one’s self. Eventually, the goal becomes clear and the stakes feel fairly high, but it’s really about the emotional struggles and the emotional stakes for Vinette. The story nicely journeys how she transforms not just from ordinary mother into a superhero, but from an insecure woman into “super something” as she comes to love and respect…

During season three of When Calls the Heart, I often say I interviewed most of the supporting cast, and Andrea Brooks was one of those gracious individuals who agreed almost the moment I asked her. This season, when I asked her for a second interview, the girl was so busy that we only had the opportunity this past week to finally have a wonderful chat about When Calls the Heart, Supergirl, and more. I invite all Hearties to read this interview because when I say Andrea is exceptionally insightful about this beloved show, I'm not kidding. This interview covers more territory than Hope Valley and Catco combined! Moreover, interviewing the amiable Andrea was just like sitting down and chatting with an old friend.…

So in this chapter we finally learn that this family is rather dysfunctional. The characters introduced so far are : Davy, Swede, August & Birdie Shultz, Reuban, Jerimiah ( Dad) & Helen ( Mother), Dolly, Finch, And Basca. You learn about a recent fight that his father has had with Finch and Basca who are just some school bullies for trying to sexually asault Dolly who is Davys Girlfriend. I presume after seeing his fathers astonishing god act that something bad is on the way and he knows it. I predict more to come more of a battle than just saving Dolly and that being it. Theres much more to develop in this story. I predict bigger test of faith from his father and that eventually something more tragic is going to happen.…

Faith’s character symbolizes the sin of adultery. Not only has God forbidden adultery, but the son of God himself said, "Whoso looketh on a woman to lust after her, hath committed adultery with her already in his heart" Matthew 5:28. As the text states, “As the wife was aptly named” Faith which indicates she represented innocence and belief in God (p.325). As Faith discovered that her husband was determined go into the forest, she pleaded with him for him to stay. Faith stated, “ A lone woman is troubled with such dreams and such thoughts that she’s afeard of herself sometimes”(p.325). That quote signifies Faith adulterous mentality. Faith was a key participant in the witches Sabbath witch cemented her as not being of faith, but of evil.…

Although she is not physically seen in the story all that often, Brown's wife Faith is repeatedly brought into focus throughout the story. Like her name signifies, Faith is described as an honest and innocent Puritan woman, "Faith, as the wife was aptly named, thrust her own pretty head into the street, letting the wind play with the pink ribbons of her cap while she called to Goodman Brown." (Hawthorne 1.) The pink ribbons in this quote can also represent the youth and innocence Faith seems to have. Brown's wife also symbolizes his own child-like faith; this is shown during the main event in the story- the journey through the heathen's forest. "But something fluttered lightly down through the air, and caught on the branch of a tree. The young man seized it, and beheld a pink ribbon." (Hawthorne 6) Yet again, the pink ribbons are mentioned. This time, the falling of the ribbons from the dark clouds symbolizes Brown's loss of Faith, both in his wife and in humankind, as he hears his wife's voice draw close to evil. ""My Faith is gone!"…

If I were in this show, I think I’d want to play Margaret because of her flirtatious personality. She seemed like a fun character to play because she was very “friendly”. She was also acted very cute and fun and she always had a smile on her face. I loved how she’d flirt with the audience every time there was a set…

Fall River, Massachusetts continuously listed in the top 10 most dangerous cities in MA and number 51 most dangerous city in the U.S. This is where I grew up. Reading stories about the city that gave me so much is difficult. I would not be where I am or who I am without it although. I grew up sheltered from a lot of the drugs and violence at an early age as I went to a private school. Even though I did not go to public schools, driving through the city with my mom we always saw the same homeless man on the same corner. I would often ask if we could stop at the subway that we drove by to give him a sandwich. My mom always had a strong dislike for Subway but we would stop and I would get a foot long so I could give the other half to this man that faithfully stood outside. So although I don’t think I understood the magnitude of the poverty and…
