With the benefits of nanotechnology, it will be easy to develop new things. First of all, I want to explain a little bit what nanotechnology is. Nanotechnology is taking up the control of matter on a molecular scale. It deals with very little structures which is 100 times smaller. At this scale, properties of products can be changed, giving one the ability to create new things such as create more precise, cleaner, better, stronger and more durable products. For example, today, there are some kind of battery which is produced with nanotechnlogy, much more durable than before. In addition, in the future, it will be easy to invent new products and machines because nanotechnology will play vital role on manufacturing. According to Angelo (2007), “Nanotechnology promises to fundamentally change the way materials and devices will be produce in the future” (pp. 256). This can be change the future…

With history, one must begin with the past. Of course, like most things, nanotechnology was just an idea or concept; a concept that was proposed by the physicist Richard Feynman in 1959. He stated that he wanted to build tiny factories all manufacturing simultaneously. He continued to say that it does not violate any laws of physics and has not been in practice only because humans are too big. The practice of it began to develop when the scanning tunneling microscope was created. This enormous microscope allowed humans to view the height of individual atoms. What was seen looked like some alien landscapes. However, using the same machine, they could also move, pick up, and place the atoms, rearranging these landscapes into their own. Nanotechnology is starting to skyrocket these days. It is one of the major studies right now. Many products are already using nanotechnology. These products are batteries that have longer life spans, sunscreen that doesn’t whiten the user’s face and bandages that kill bacteria. But what will there be in the future? There are chances that the uses of nanotechnology in The Risen Empire can become real. There may be nanosuits and nanoships, but most likely not until the distant future. Other possible products in the distant future may be disease killing nanotechnologies that roam the body, destroying threatening bacteria or viruses.…

    I. INTRODUCTION Nanotechnology is a field that is dominated by developments in basic physics and chemistry research [1], where phenomena on atomic and molecular level are used to provide materials and structures that perform tasks that are not possible using the materials in their typical macroscopic form. The evolution of technology and instrumentation as well as its related scientific areas such as physics and chemistry are making the research on nanotechnology aggressive and evolutional [2]. Not surprisingly, it is observed that expenditure on nanotechnology research is significant. The U.S. National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) expenditures exceed $1 billion each year, with the President’s 2008 budget for NNI at $1.5 billion. However, the research is mainly moving forward motivated by…
