NFL Team Case Study
In the inaugural episode of Undisputed Skip Bayles made an interesting point. Every year Jeff Fisher beats a random divisional opponent. This lone victory somehow justifies him remaining an NFL coach. The LA Rams recent defeat of the Seattle Seahawks continued the trend.

Last Sunday the Seahawks lost to the Rams. The former Super Bowl champs lost by six points. Their lone score was the result of a 23 yard field goal. The Hawks 2016 season isn't over yet. But they need to turn around things in a hurry if they want to survive.

Seattle's next three opponents have a combined 3-3 record. Which on paper doesn't sound scary. However according cheatsheet.com the worst team to ever win a super bowl was the 2011 Giants. That year NY lost seven regular

Seattle has proven that they can consistently set the bar high. Aiming for anything else would be a disgrace to the Hawks brand. Depending on a low number of wins to reach the playoffs isn't only a gamble and a joke. Its not even to tolerable

We are only two weeks into the NFL season. So far the NFC west division is terrible. Two of the next three Seahawks games are at the Clink. The ceiling isn't falling you say. You argue that the sky isn't falling. You say being defeated by the Rams last night wasn't even speed bump.

Last nights loss wasn't even a speedbump or a blip. It was a loss that will haunt the team for the rest of the season. A statement that most of you will disagree with. It was and should be an awakening call. This loss should be the defining moment in the 2016-17 Sehawks season. The moment that they rallied around. The moment that propelled their launch in to the Super Bowl.

In 2014 the Seattle Seahawks ended Seattle's men's sports curse. That important victory increased the teams pressure to win. Their Super bowl loss was a fluke. They should've beat the Patriots.     Every fall a majority of Americans count down the days to the start of every NFL season. It is the time of the year when people look forward to traveling to their favorite team’s stadium, or powering up the big screen to watch the game.
