Mystery Woods: A Short Story

One day, two boys, Jamal and Todd, went walking through the “Mystery Woods”. No one would ever go into, or think about going into those woods. Rumor has it, that there was a little boy, maybe seven, went into the woods and never came out. People sent airplanes and claimed there were pools of blood and trees covered in flies. There were bugs bigger than the rotting bodies that were everywhere! After hearing about this story, the boys were DYING to go into the woods, so one Saturday… they did, and it was their BIGGEST regret.
“Why is there so many spider webs!?” asked Todd.
“Well, I’m guessing it has nothing to do with the fact we are in the woods you idiot!” Answered Jamal.
“Yeah, well it probably is because we are in the woods, so IN YOUR
He isn’t going to listen to you!” stated Jamal “You never know…’ The boys came to a huge house! 4 storied high and 212 yard wide. A crash of thunder fills their ears… lightning fills the sky. “I know it’s raining, but I don’t think we should go in.” thought Todd “Well I do, let’s go” pushed
In great condition and so clean! When you first walk in, there is a diamond chandelier hanging down in the foyer. There is a room to the left, in that room belong spiral stairs, these stairs have a velvet carpeting going down them. This house is nice. The boys checked out the rooms, there are exactly 16 rooms and 7 bathrooms. When you go onto the porch, the wrap-around porch, there is a Hot tub and steps to get outside. “Jamal! We could live here! You know, if the red paint on the house didn’t ware down to pink and if the blue shutters didn’t ware down to purple… but we can repaint!” supposed Todd. “Um… no we couldn’t… because THERE IS A FIGURE AFTER US!” shouted Jamal. The boys got to the fifth room on the fourth floor, and well… that’s when they should have left. Before they even got the open the door, they hear a rocking chair… not downstairs, not in the room… right behind them! They turned around slowly, but there it was! A little white rocking chair, covered in blood. The boys turned back around and the door to the room was opened. Now, of course they are gonna walk in the room, because they are boys… in a freaking scary story. They walk in, and it’s a nice room… it has a fish tank, the fish are dead of course, but it has a fish tank and a nicely made bed. “Hey, look a closet! Let’s see what’s inside it!” said Todd “You’re dumb. But yeah, I would like to see what in there.” Agreed
