My Grandma´S House
My grandmother´s house My favorite place has always been my grandmother´s house. This is the place I would have to go before and after school. I have always loved my grandma´s house because it made me feel safe and warm. There was a smell of coffee in the air all the times. It seemed to be like all my grandma did was make coffee. When I smell coffee, I instantly think of my grandma´s house. She lives on a street called Hillcrest. It is a beautiful street where each house seems to stand on its own little hill like royalty. There are trees literary everywhere. Number 64 if her house, it looks is the king of Hillcrest, if you would know by just looking at it. The living room is the first room when entering the house. This room is filled with very lively furniture; comfortable, then leather couches, colorful rugs over the bare wood floor, and a large display case with pictures, book, and many memories of friends and family. She have an enormous window that, during the day, will let as much sunlight and energy in the room as possible. Every single person in my family has a room in my grandma´s house because everyone likes to stay there. My sister´s room is decorated with strange little trinkets that look if they were little wooden boxes. My grandma´s house is always filled with people, I remember when I was little sitting in a chair seeing my grandma cook and tasting all the delicious things she made and enjoying the funny sounds that the food make. Every single Sunday I go there to see the bright sun taking me to the swimming pool, which is not much longer than river. I love my grandma´s house, is the best I ever

My Aunt Caprice owned a large house and a couple acres of land which my brother and I would roam anytime we visited. Every Christmas Eve my mother would drive us over to Aunt Caprice’s house to visit her family and other close family friends. My Uncle Roger would take me around the property and let me collect chicken eggs for him. This taught me the value of hard work and was a humbling experience for me in my youth. My cousins, Bryan and Brent were very close to my brother and I, we would often hang out in the backyard either jumping on the trampoline or playing video games with each other. Some of my favorite memories were spent at that house, especially on Christmas to see family or just to go over and watch Dallas Cowboys games with…

It was finally starting to get dark, so we decided to go back to the house. On our fourth day, we were going to go to Virginia Beach. It’s about two hours from my aunt’s house so we left kind of early to get there around eleven o’clock. While we were there my grandparents went to one of those side shops, the ones that sell clothes and other items. Anyway, they went and bought a ton of different souvenirs. Everyone looked at my grandparents and laughed. They looked…

It’s the table, where you sat with your parents, cracking algebraic code and discussing theology. It’s the pillow that soaked-up tears from broken friendships and silenced 3AM laughter. It’s the metal griddle, where you learned about your great grandparents while making traditional Norwegian food. A house is more than just a building, but a place filled with memories, a place that…

There once was a time that I went to cabo San Lucas Mexico with my family. The reason that this trip was so special too was because I got to spend a whole week with my grandparents, aunts and uncles and most importantly my parents. When we first got we went to are rooms and put are thing down then went right down to the pool. I can still remember the way the pool look and felt because I got cut on one of the tiles in the pool. One there reasons I liked the pool so much is you could just sit there and watch the sun set. Then the next day I went fishing on the beach that was so cool casting out a fishing line and sitting there waiting with family there beaches are so beautiful and nice like the ones you see in TV commercials. I haven’t even got to the best part they have a little cruise called sunset cruise. You rode on a pirate ship and watch people fight and watch the sun go down. I was a lot like the movie call peter pan. This little cruise was so special because in a hurry and I got locked out of my room I forgot to wear shoes so I was without shoes that whole night. There is one restraints that you have to go to when you are there I mean they have unreal food. They have huge tacos filled with anything you want with beans, rice and a side salad. I can taste it now. I also remember the time I went with my grandparents to the beach after the sun went down with one of my uncles. You have experienced nothing until that happened I mean the sand nice and cold between your toes swimming in the ocean you feel so free and wild. That is why cabo San Lucas Mexico is so special to me. I have a lot of good memories there with my…

It is the one place where I know I can relax. It has that small cottage feel to it. There are not only huge oak trees and rose bushes surrounding it, but she also has a small garden waterfall, which complements it nicely. The moment I walked inside the house, a feeling of calmness came over me. The worries of going to work and paying bills that would not ever be paid off vanished from my mind. This place is my absolute haven away from the rat race of the inner city and when I tire of crowds of people around me. This is one place where southerners with true southern hospitality…

There is a narrow window a the left. Through its leaded panes the morning sunlight streams> A candle still burns near the bed, which is at the right. My room is my one and only domain where I carry out various leisure activities such as studying, watching films and television, listen to music, talk on the phone, surf the internet, etc. My room is painted all pink; also, most of the things in my room are all pink. As someone enters my room, the first thing that he or she will see is a cream dresser with a stylish design coated on it. In it, lie all my clothes and personal belongings. Then on the other side of my room, a black plasma television resided on the wall which I enjoy watching my favorite movies, and television shows. Opposite of that, is my full size bed which has pink covers. Also right behind it is the room window, which has sparkly and pink curtains. Next to my bed I have a nightstand where my stereo is on top of it; also on one of the drawers I have my favorite book. On the wall next to my bed, I have a huge sign that says "PRINCESS", and around it are pictures from my sweet fifteen. Across from my bed I have my studying and relaxing area where I have a pink desk with my laptop and printer. Right next to it I have a beanbag chair with reading books around it, and that's where I relax, read, and study. Then I have a walk-in closet where I have lots of shoes, clothes, school supplies, and personal belongings. My room is my absolute favorite room in the house, that's where I study and relax. I enjoy my room, and I enjoy doing pretty much anything as long as it's in my…
