In the Crucible, this song could be sung to John by Abigail. During the book, you see Elizabeth transform into loving and supporting wife, despite John’s mistake. This songs belongs on the Crucible soundtrack because the artist is saying how she can’t get over her past relationship, just like Abby can’t get over John.
