My Visit to Las Vegas
Las vegas is located in America in the desert state of Nevada. Although, you will think what is so special in a city in the desert,it is like any other city. As I have been there I know the beauty of it. It looks as if it is a shimmering, sparkling star in the sky. Las vegas is a tourist spot. People from all over the world come here to see its beauty or gamble. Our trip was planned for seven days. I traveled there with my Uncle,Aunt and grandparents. First, when I was told about visiting Las vegas I was a bit skeptical about it. I thought to myself why would anyone visit a desert city for a vacation? But, after we landed I realized the reason why people get enamored with this beautiful city. It was like a paradise in in the desert. On the first day when we reached Las vegas was 13th May. We went to pick our rental car and checked into our hotel. Our hotel room was like a fully furnished house. We got refreshed and went for sightseeing. We saw some hotels from outside. We also saw fountains of a seven star hotel Bellagio. It was my favorite hotel. A song was played there and the fountains danced on its beats. The next day was Saturday. We went to the vegas strip where we went to a hotel MGM grand where we saw lions. There were two of of them, a mother and a baby. They were very kind to each other. Then we went to see Bellagio where they had created the theme of spring. It had thousands of real flowers. It had a giant wheel, moths and butterflies. Then we went to Paris where they had created a replica of the Eiffel tower. Inside they had created the theme of Paris and the sun setting. It was beautiful. We also went to New York where which has the theme of New York. The hotel architecture and the interior design was of the New York city. Inside the hotel they had made a replica Statue of the Liberty by jellybeans. We had some snacks and went to our hotel and we rested for an hour. Oh I forgot to tell you that the actual beauty of Las vegas is at night as all

A boardwalk signifies relaxation and entertainment. What better place to build a fabulous boardwalk entertainment village than in the tourist capital of America beautiful Las Vegas, NV, to be more specific, Lake Las Vegas. This is a lush lakeside retreat located only 15 minutes east of the famous “Las Vegas Strip.” It is surrounded by natural red rocks and borders the Lake Mead Recreational Park. Several other hotels have already graced this manmade lake along with two award winning golf courses, and gourmet restaurants and exquisite shopping. Currently, there are two lakeside parcels remaining with great frontage and access to the shops and golf as well as many aquatic activities including sailing, fishing, canoeing, and small boating. Development of the structure would be made through a partnership with Lake Las Vegas LTD, the chief land owner within this region. We feel that with a strategic partnership with the land owner, in the form of a land lease, our overall build-out costs would be drastically reduced and would yield pleasant tax incentives for this form of business structuring.…

At first when I had heard of it, I wasn’t too sure on what it was or how it was going to be. When my brother and I had got there it was a beautiful sight. We found out that the strip was all of Las Vegas pretty much and there’s an abundance of beautiful and elusive lights that light up all of it. We took a trip around the whole thing and went to all the little stores and bought some neat souvenirs to take home with us since this was going to be our last day sadly. After we were done we had to head back to the hotel and we heard good news that my dad one in one of his poker tournaments and we greeted him there. We went to bed in the beautiful night of Las Vegas and waited for the morning. I couldn’t believe the fun was already…

My first trip to Las Vegas was the worst plane trip every, I had experienced all types of emotions from Norfolk to Dallas. In Norfolk my flight was delayed due to the weather, then another two hour delay in Dallas. All I wanted was to get to Vegas. On my flight I sat beside a man who never been on a plane. This guy behavior was the worst. I tried to convince him to read, listen to music or drink. I even tried to start a conversation to calm him down. My friends were laughing they knew my patience was running out. I was thinking to myself knocking him out. We enter into a storm the thunder and lightning was bad the sounds silence the whole flight. The Pilot came on and informed us we are in Dallas unable to land due to the weather. Looking out…

The clock above my head ticks slowly, the sound ever increasing as the minutes pass by; tick, tick, tick. I normally do not notice the time while I work, usually I am the energizer bunny of workers, in early, out late, always working or willing to, but that day was different; I had a date; a first date to be exact. Finally the time has come for me to go home; I step out into the warm Vegas air, I can smell the familiar scents of fall slowly encroaching on the city. September in Vegas is typically warm, with the average daily temperatures in the upper nineties. I lite a cigarette and walk through the parking garage to my car. My mind was racing; what will he be like, will he be funny, boring; I even allow my thoughts to drift to what he would look like naked.…

Not in the aspect people living there, but the place that gets the most attention from tourists and people in general. I can not necessarily remember the place we went , but it was beautiful. It looked just like Venice on the inside or at least what I thought it would have been like. I had never seen something with so much attention to detail of this magnitude. The place was virtually a shopping mall as well, but it didn't seem like a mall. It was like you were in a small town with different stores around. I was just amazed at something for probably the first time in my life. It was such a huge place purely for the cause of entertainment and business. It didn't have to be anywhere near as monumental and detailed to bring people. Just being in las Vegas on the strip and having the stores it had would draw people in. It was just how much it meant to them, and their pride in Las Vegas. They spared no expenses in their…

The mechanical chairs were going up, 100ft in the air we were ready for our stomachs to drop to our feet, adrenaline pumping. Then all of the sudden we were in a situation; death or survival? On one normal day of school my friends and I (Bri, Keishon, Chaniece, and Datasia) were sitting at the lunch table eating our food. Then Bri brought up the idea that we should all take a road trip to Six Flags. Keishon agreed, “sounds like a good idea to me.” Everybody else then agreed with Bri that it was a good idea. After school we all decided to meet at Bri’s house after we had packed our stuff. We decided that we were going to get a hotel there and go out to eat after leaving Six Flags. From the other room Datasia yelled, “Are you guys ready?” We…

    My Visit To New Orleans

When I started to look for colleges during high school, I took an unconventional approach towards finding the university that I wanted to attend. My first visit to New Orleans was by accident after my parents canceled our summer trip to Santa Fe because they did not think the food there was good enough. They asked if New Orleans was a better alternative and I jumped at the idea of being in a city that supposedly is rich in ghost . After my first trip, I fell in love with the people, atmosphere, and most importantly the city. The next three years, my family and I came to New Orleans any chance we had, during spring break, winter vacation, and the summer. New Orleans became a place where my imagination was replenished after spending my whole life in Houston. The way I connected to New Orleans was through the distinct architecture and historical presence that I felt through my everyday experiences in the city.…
