My Trip To Disney-Personal Narrative
We had to race out the door or we were going to miss our flight to disney. My family consisting of my mom dad my oldest brother and my other older brother was already there for school so we decided to go over spring break because my brother was performing. We got to the airport just one hour left to get to our terminal so we got there with ten minutes to spare. As i got into the tunnel to the plane i could feel the cold chicago air. We found our seats and there is a little girl in front of me.” Please put your bag under your seat young man;” the nice flight attendant said to me, so I did and we had a nice flight.
We were getting off the plane and I noticed that my backpack was a little wet I was sure that it was nothing but it was something.”Mom

It was just a boring day in my hometown, a traditional, weak entrance a lot of narrative stories use to try to get the attention of the readers. This story, however, isn’t one of those traditional stories; this one involves a day that had been exciting up to that point already. The memory that resonates daily throughout my mind would have to be the time when I went to Six Flags for the first time in my life. Before I jump into my story, I should tell you my friends mess with each other a lot, almost to the point where we get into fights with each other.…

I was going to apply for 6 flags amusement park at a point, but just didn’t end up working with my schedule. I am glad that you have become more confidence and less anxious. I still get nervous and shy even if I think I am prepared enough. The one thing that helps me not let it get the hold of me is, just being as truthful as I can be and let the marbles fall in its…

My best childhood memory is going to Six Flags. Me, Tommy, Anthony, and Connor are going to Six Flags. Their mom is taking us. I was very excited to go to Six Flags because it would be my first time going. When we finally got there. We parked the car and walked to the gates. When we got into the park. Connor wanted to ride the cyclone. Tommy and Anthony asked if I wanted to ride it. I said, “No.” but they pulled me into doing it. So, we waited in line. When we got to the front of the line. We got on the roller coaster and the ride started. When we started to go up I was nervous. When we got to the top, and as we were going down I couldn’t even hear myself scream. After the ride we rode rides around the park. Then, we went to the water park…

Climbing into the lime green car, my fear was over taking me. I was getting ready to ride the Titan, an adrenaline pumping roller coaster ride at Six Flags. It was easily the scariest ride at the park, in my opinion, with its enormous peaks, its deep descents, and double helix like turns was enough to make me sick. The ride began. Ascending up in the car on the canary yellow track, into the humidity filled, bright sky, the people observing from below resembled little army ants . The aerial view of Dallas was breathtaking, as I reached the peak of the ride and looked around. Passengers occupying the cars in front of me started falling off, like a cliff. I let out a high-pitched shrill, as we plummeted toward the Earth below. Traveling…

It was 2009 and I had been in sixth grade for a couple of months. I was on the phone with one of my friends from school when my mom called through my door for me to come out into the living room. I ignored her and kept talking for a few minutes when she called me out again. I rolled my eyes and told my friend I would call her right back. I walked into the living room and it seemed odd to me that both my sisters and dad were all out there too. I watched my mom take a deep breath with my dad by her side. As she began to speak her voice shook and gloss covered her eyes. “The doctors found a lump in my last mammogram.” she said. “It came back as cancer. I’m going to have to get treatment but I’m going to be okay.” No one else said a word, we all…

Today is the day! Today, I go experience the Knott’s Berry Farm for myself. I couldn’t wait to ride the rides, so when my uncle got here I raced into his car and off we went to the Knott’s Berry Farm. When we arrived, we immediately decided to aim for finishing all the rides. Most of the lines for the rides were very intimidating. To the point where we were questioning ourselves will this really be worth it? Most of the rides we waited in had a queue of 1 to 2 hours but the rides were definitely worth it even if they were just 1 to 2 minutes. In return for the queue, the rides always kept me occupies with the accelerations, drops, and loops! All the waiting, loops, and drops without food was starting to take affect and I was getting hungry…

Because I was at the back, I couldn't tell what was going on in the first class section. Three people with red bandannas entered the cockpit. The had left one person outside of the cockpit who was holding something in his hand. After a minute or so, they came back out of the cockpit dragging two bodies behind them. They went back in the cockpit and within a minute we were told from the new pilot that they had a bomb on board. They allowed us to make phone calls. I was the first one to be able to make a call. My parents didn't pick up the phone, so I left a message telling them that my plane had been hijacked. After I left a message, I sat down in my seat and let others…

I remember the day vividly: the sizzling of food frying, children yelling, my tears running, it was the first time I adventured to Six Flags. The uneasiness of my stomach while swaying tens of feet from the ground on the Texas Giant petrified the adventurous spirit out of me. However, I did not realize that moment `would shape the next eight years of life, emerging in my memory at every unfamiliar experience I faced. It was my senior year when I declined an invitation to go camping with my friends an epiphany struck me. How many of these opportunities was I going to skip out on due to my reluctant manner?…

The mechanical chairs were going up, 100ft in the air we were ready for our stomachs to drop to our feet, adrenaline pumping. Then all of the sudden we were in a situation; death or survival? On one normal day of school my friends and I (Bri, Keishon, Chaniece, and Datasia) were sitting at the lunch table eating our food. Then Bri brought up the idea that we should all take a road trip to Six Flags. Keishon agreed, “sounds like a good idea to me.” Everybody else then agreed with Bri that it was a good idea. After school we all decided to meet at Bri’s house after we had packed our stuff. We decided that we were going to get a hotel there and go out to eat after leaving Six Flags. From the other room Datasia yelled, “Are you guys ready?” We…

I returned back from vacation this week and it was nice to see all the children’s smiling faces. The parent’s express how they missed me as well as their children. This makes me love my job even more. This week there was a two year old child who had a seizure at the center; this was scary for the children, staff, as well I. 911 had to be called out to the center. We all have had CPR and first aid training so we were comfortable with handling the case until the ambulance reached us. However, we were not so prepared when the child stopped breathing. This was a learning experience, but I do not want to do it again. I want all my children safe and happy. I had to ride with the child to the hospital till her mother was reached and notified what…

Marked in my calendar with an Eiffel Tower sticker, June 8, 2008 came in the blink of an eye. All of a sudden, it was my departure date. It was around 7:30 am and I was like an owl starring at the clock waiting for my alarm to go off. Since my flight departed from San Antonio, my parents had to drive me to the airport very early in the morning. My brother was carrying my extra large-sized suitcase and my dad was turning on the car. “Irene, do you have Andrea’s plane tickets?” My dad asked my mom. “Oh my God I almost forgot!” She replied with one hand on her mouth. I could not believe we almost left without the plane tickets. Later, on my way to San Antonio I was scared and happy, nervous and anxious, stressed but calm at the same time. Many questions were in my head. It is going to be fun? Will I miss my family? And when I least expected, I was on the plane. I was leaving home together with 35 friends to a whole new world.…
