My Super Mother
The person I will always remember in my entire life is my mother because she is the most sacrificial, loyal, and humorous lady that I have ever known. She is an inspiration to everything I do. I would not call her a friend, but she is an extraordinary person. She has been in my life since I was born and she will always be in my life no matter what happens. She is the one who has suffered to bring me into this world. I have learned to love her from the day I was born.
My mother was the first person to teach me how to talk and walk, and she was with me when I took my first step ever! The one showed me to believe in people and not to have grudges against one another. She always encouraged me to go along when I was ready to give up. She made sure that I was safe and happy throughout my childhood. It is the unconditional love that my mother feels that drives these feelings.
Mrs Duong, my mother, has sacrificed a lot of things for her family especially me, her first daughter. The mothers give a lot of awesome support to their children, whether it involves very visible support or simple background encouragement. She is 45 years old and has spent nearly half of her life for me. All of the mothers carry their baby in nine months and ten days in spite of a lot of painful, ugliness; they seem like they are the luckiest women in the world. In the same way, my seventeen years living with her was the brightest and the most wonderful time in my life before I moved to America and live with my dad. I just cannot forget anything about what she has done for me, every second that I spent with her. When all is well, a mother puts her children before anything else, including their own comfort and happiness. My mother has always provided me and my brother the best education opportunities that there could be. Resigning all the good things for her children, remember one time we had a vacation in the winter; there were three people and only two jackets. She firmly refused to wear a jacket however she was being sick, coughing and sneezing every minute. My mom forced me and my brother put that on, the next few days, her illness got worse which weakened her: pale faced, high fever which I can feel the heat when I stood by her, glassy-eyed. She did not know that not only she was struggling with the pain, her daughter was also. My chest was squeezed up and my heart was collapsed into pieces. No complaining, no regret at what she did, but tried to give me anything that she could afford, my mother should be awarded as a role-model mother for her noble sacrifice.
Furthermore mom has an impression on me by her loyal. I don’t know what people think about her situation but I call it as constant. Ten years, 13979 km, half way around the world, is the space that my parents have been separated from each other. Many friends of theirs said that they would have another partner soon cause my mom is pretty and alone. Love neither faded nor broken, my mom is still a faithful wife. My father and mother often meet each other through Skype so they can see how theirs life are going; just like a teenager couple dating, it has been a habit for 10 years which I often boast proudly about my parents to my friends that I think not many couples could do it. My dad is really blessed from God because God gave him such a loyal lady.
Besides that, my “boss” is really humorous. She is not harsh at her age. That is why people always feel comfortable and happy when they hang around with her, including me. No family party is crazy without her, she makes fun and her nature act is even funnier. Additionally, last time I cried on my 15th birthday, I told her that I wish something magical, special would occur at my birthday party; she just nodded her head up and down as she was setting up something in her mind; I did not recognize it was a signal of an evil plan. This is how she did, at my birthday night, nothing happened at all, no party, no cake, or balloons, not even my family at home. I was disappointed, guessing that people forgot my birthday; it had brought some tears to my eyes. Suddenly someone knocked at the door and rang the bell repeatedly. Coming out to open with mindless and wet eyes, rain water balloons were flung at me rapid-fire. I was completely wet as a rat that just came out of the sewer. It did not stop there; my crazy mother jumped at me, grabbed my face and pressed it on the huge birthday cake. I shiver right now when those scenes run through my mind again, and I remember how ugly I was on that day. Crying because of madness, crying because of being scared, and crying because such a happiness, and surprise day; I was wet from eyes to toes. Nevertheless I still love that memory so much which is hard for me to forget and hard for me to get mad at my humorous mommy.
That right! Those are all the characteristics that create my wonderful mother and what I will always remember about her. I admonish myself day by day that I should try harder to study, to work and be successful to pay her back, to make her proud of me as the way I have been proud of her. My mother is the most influential person in my life. She always helps me to solve my problem and stand strong in this complicated social, no other person in the world is as important as my mother. Altogether, I understand why this statement is famous: "God could not be everywhere and so he invented mothers"!

My mom has sacrificed so much for my brother and I, she would drop everything and anything if it meant helping us in someway or just to make our day a little better. My moms love for my brother and I is most apparent in the way she wants us to experience our life. She wants to give us every opportunity she possibly can and especially the ones she never got; if that meant whether or not we wanted to or not. She always encourages us to do and try new things, stick with something all the way through and never quit. She pushed me to accomplish things I never would have done without her support and guidance. Although she gave it all her might sometimes my stubbornness outshone her persistence.…

A single mom with an alcoholic unreliable husband, she protected me from growing up too fast by divorcing him. Not only did she take excellent care of me, but she also took excellent care of herself. My Mom. My Hero.

My mom has not only had a difficult childhood, but she has also had a difficult life overall. When she was a child her father left them and did not bother helping them with money. Consequently, my mother would have to work from extremely hot to freezing cold days in order to help her mom support them. In fact, until this day my mom hates ponchos because she says that it was the only piece of clothing she could afford to wear in the cold weather. Years later, her father came back a “changed” man but that didn’t mean my mother was going to forgive him right away. She always blamed him for all the trouble they had to go through while he was away. She did not forgive him completely until he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and did not have much time left to live. It hurt her to see her father dead but not as much as it hurt her seeing her mom dying six years before this. My grandmother fought against cancer for two years, but she lost her battle on July 14, 2005, exactly one week after her birthday. It didn’t end there for our family. On December of 2011, my father was diagnosed with stage four kidney cancer and passed away three months later on March 30th of 2012. That’s the one death that hurt my mom the most. The thought of losing the partner that she was supposed to be with the rest of her life seemed so unreal.…

I have a great relationship with my mother, something many girls, my age, are lacking. In some ways it’s like growing up together, best friends. She has always provided the loving, but strict mother figure, which I can rely on, in my life. Her creativity brought me lots of fun times and cherished memories through out my childhood. Her strong words and lectures, many she has learned from her past, bring me wisdom and guidance for the rest of my life. And her open and loving heart gives me a safe place to share my emotions. I never could ask for a better person to spend my memories with, for they wouldn’t be the memories they are without…

“All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players.” touched my heart when I sat under a tree in dog wood park to see the play which leaves me no doubt that this is “As you like it” written by the greatest writer in the English language and the world’s pre-eminent dramatist and play write William Shakespeare. They play started at 7.00pm in the evening and it was directed by Steven W Gwilt. They story was about a girl named Rosalind who was the nephew of a king named Duke Fredrick and a boy named Orlando who was a prince. Rosalind and Orlando fell in love with each other when they meet at a wrestling competition. Their love goes deeper when Rosalind went to forest with her cousin Cilia and a fool guy named Touchstone in search for her banished father in a disguise of a man and named herself as Ganymede and coincidently meets Orlando while Orlando was expressing his love for Rosalind with the nature of the forest and Heather. With the disguise Rosalind appeared in front of Orlando and said that his love for Rosalind isn’t enough. To prove his love Orlando had to woo Ganymede. Along with this story there were other love stories also. The fool Touchstone fell in love with Phebe who came along with them and there is the story of the couple Jacques and Audrey. Orlando’s elder brother Oliver also fell in love with Cilia. The story ends with a happy wedding in the end.…
