A weakness and idiosyncrasy of the SAT, along with a select few of other tests, can be taken once per seven months a year, during January, March, May, June, October, November, and December. This means that a tester could fail the test six times but still get a full score on their last try. Additionally, SAT scores and tries do not impact each other if they are taken individually. Some officials from the College Board might differ and accuse that other methods of tracking data are taken through means of super score. A super score is the average of all of one’s tests and gives a more accurate representation of one’s capabilities, but it also has weaknesses. As most global or nationwide programs are centralized on easily accessible the world wide web, the SAT has its own online dashboard, registration, and tracking system for its test takers. However, fearers of the super score could easily make new accounts and register for new tests, thus bypassing this…

For a fair chance at my goal, I would first need to prepare for the challenging exam. My school previously provided a class called the “SAT Boot Camp.” I ended up attending the boot camp three times consecutively. From that class, I received study materials specifically for the SAT. Practicing these learning materials assisted me in being prepared for the SAT more than anything else. Finally, I took the practice version of the SAT four times before actually taking the SAT. My first three years of taking a class structured specifically for the SAT, practicing an array of study materials, and taking the practice version of the SAT prepared me for the exam that would show colleges my academic…

There are numerous ways you can study for this standardized test, in order to achieve a high score. Overall, colleges use this test to determine which students they allow into their schools. This is why taking the SAT is a crucial part of a student’s…

"I like the SAT, but I don't love it. I wish I could find something that was a more fair and accurate measure" (Cloud, par.14). The ACT and SAT should not be used as a requirement for college admission. First off, there are a plethora of students that are not good test takers and will crack under pressure. Also, these tests are unreliable; there are other things like GPA that can measure a student’s performance.…
