my personality
My personality One the interests and skills test we took it said that, Investigative and conventional is my biggest interests. I think that the investigative part is really correct but the convention is not, I see myself-way more social than conventional. On the skills part it shows that I have a lot of organizational, leadership, and literary. Which, I agree on to the fullest about me being so. There was an only one career suggestion that I actually would care about doing. That career was being an intellectual property lawyer, even though that I would like to do more criminal defense lawyer. On the Keirsey personality testing it said I was a Guardian Supervisor. It states that I believe in law and order, and to keeping traditions. Better to go slowly, they say, and look before you leap. Im not that well with winging it or blazing new trails, so I stick to a schedule. I have the biggest problem with people that don’t step up and become a team player. I really hate it when I help a guy out at work and then when I ask for his help he doesn’t do it!
It is really hard to get jobs and goals done in an work environment when someone isn’t working as a team and only thinks about their self. I prefer that people talk to me as an adult since i practically am one. They don’t need to talk to me like a little kid with soft voice but should do it as a strong voice to help it stick in my head. If I did something wrong I would like to be talked to and not bowed off that it was no big deal.

After taking the assessments the conclusion I came to was that Social, Investigative, Conventional and Enterprising Careers, might be the right path to follow in the fact that I like to figure out how things work rather than lead people, I love to be of service to other people rather than be on the receiving end, I tend to follow a set of procedural routines, however I also hate following strict rules or dealing with a bunch of paperwork....…

Based on the career matches of my interest profiler by the University of Phoenix, I am conventional, enterprising, and realistic. Conventional meaning that I like a routine in my daily life. I am always striving to maintain a normal flow in my life and I don’t like when things change abruptly. I like the idea that I know exactly what is going to occur when I get to work each day and it has always been like that for the past 7 years or since I began my job as a data collector. The equipment changes, but it’s always the same procedures. I truly hate when someone tries to make some real drastic changes at work. Conventional can also refer to someone who prefers to work with data or detailed information. That’s probably why I do real well at my job collecting data on a daily basis. Saying that I am enterprising is saying that I would like to be a leader and someone who makes important decisions and also be able to take risk and like the business aspect of things. I was a leader for many years while serving in the United States Army and I led my soldiers in carrying out numerous tasks on a daily basis. Performed countless exercises throughout my military career. I took charge and made some very crucial decisions that involved lots of risk, while putting the life of my soldiers in danger ways. I tend to be a very realistic person, especially at home. I spent a lot of time tending and caring for my garden. It keeps me very occupied throughout my weekends at home. I also like to work on my cars and constantly doing modifications to them. Being realistic also involves working outside and I love the outdoors. Being outdoors make you enjoy life to its fullest, by appreciating nature and all its living creatures. I could not take an office job ever again, so I hope so. So based on the results from the interest profiler, I am not one bit surprise by the outcome. This is who basically I am.…

The code for this job is social, enterprising, and conventional (SEC). Enterprising occupations includes doing a job from start to finish. They lead people to make many decisions, and require some risk taking. Conventional occupations involve the worker to follow a set of procedures, and routines to complete their job. The work includes working with data and details, and less with ideas. My interest code is social, realistic, and investigative (SRI). Realistic occupations are more hands on, with work outside, and does not include a lot of paperwork or working with others. Investigative occupations involve lots of ideas, and requires you to think. Realistic and investigative do not seem to match up with this job. Especially investigative, because it seems to be the opposite of…
