Having a proper path to success will lead to you getting into what you want to do when you are older. Always plan your homework and never let yourself get behind, study even if it seems unnecessary. To be the person who knows everything will become an advantage in life because employers will actually hire you. The business people like to hire those who know a lot. It allows you to pick out bad decisions from the good without doubt.

Next, another advantage of preparing early for those college years is that you will know what area suits you best. You do not want to be the person working a job you thought you would like. Only to learn that the job makes your life absolutely miserable. Figure out what areas you excel in and find out what you might like the most. The last thing you want to do is be doing the thing you dislike with all your passion. Be prepared to go through many difficult times where you cannot find the perfect career, that will happen. Just keep going because everyone ends up finding their dream

I tried my hardest in every classes, but still wasn’t enough. I never reached my goal of being in top 12%, as a result my self-esteem plummeted. I started high school with high hopes once again. Perhaps even more naively, I pursued the goal of being ranked number one. I was too young to realize the concept of “realistic” goals. My biggest obstacle was my state of mind. I brought my self-down. I told myself the only way to be the best is to be better than everyone else. Setting such a high goal did help me in the end. After the second semester of freshman year, I received my rank. I was ranked number 10;…

Questions- When I first graduated high school, I knew that I was not even close to prepared to attend college. In turn, I had to ask myself several questions: Should I even go to college? What would I get out of it? Will it really benefit my future? When should I go to college? Do I want to have to pay student loans off for years to come? What college should I go to? What type of degree should I get? Overall, these were the core questions I asked myself personally. I decided that instead of going to college right out of high school, I was going to take a gap year before college. This allowed me to think carefully about the answers to the questions I previously listed.…
