My Major Goals In Life
My major goal in life is to become an elite officer in the Army CAG (Delta Force). The Army ROTC is a direct route into this process by graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and at the same time becoming an Army Commissioned Officer. At that point, my next move is start my track to entering the Ranger Battalion or becoming a Green Beret. The Army ROTC curriculum will help enhance my leadership skills so that I may become an elite operator who will be able to lead his men with, not only the experiences and knowledge gained through ROTC, but in life. As I have enjoyed and excelled through my years of Army JROTC I wish to continue with the Army as they have invested time and money into just as a cadet making career obligation

Since age eleven, the military was single handedly the only career field I could possibly fathom myself going into. Upon coming to and registering for Blackman High School, joining JROTC was a no brainer. Especially when I learned I could take this class in substitution for gym class. JROTC is more than a class; it is a program all its own and within it are kids with a future. I would like to believe that JROTC is greatly contributing to this and really guiding us as students in the right direction. Even if our sights are set on something other than the military after graduating high school, JROTC looks great on a college application. Not only in that does it make a positive impact on those, but in ourselves as individuals as well. JROTC teaches us confidence, integrity, respect, and leadership skills. This is my first year in JROTC and I am very new to it all, but I am eager to take away from it precisely that. I trust this program to teach me to be not only a leader, but also a good follower with teamwork skills and confidence in my peers. Being in the company of such great people, both students and staff, I feel I am on the right path to be taking action on learning so.…

I want to have the distinguished honor of enrolling in the Reserve Officer Training Corps because I wish to do something bigger than myself so that one day when time has pushed forward I can look back and say my single greatest decision in life was to be courageous and join the military through ROTC. Acceptance into the program would not only open a door to a life unlike any other, but it would give that unit another talented, hungry, and driven mind in it’s ranks. There is no other candidate that wants this opportunity more than myself. I realized the opportunity to become an officer in the United States Army, and I pursue it with a purpose everyday. That purpose being to conquer my goals one bridge at a time with precision and accuracy,…

Raised in a military family, I consider myself an organized, dedicated, adventurous and motivated person. My father has been a great influence in my life and an honorable example of a military man who serves the people of our nation with pride. At an early age I learned about sacrifices, “This We Will Defend,” honor, respect and devotion to duty. I truly believe in what the Army stands for hence why it would be a great privilege to join the few and elite members of the prestigious Officer’s. There are many reasons I would like to become one of the officers. I want to serve alongside the Army men and women who’s work and valor have helped keep this nation safe. I want to help keep our nation a safe place and be able to give back to society. I want to continue in my fathers footsteps and make my family proud. Four years in the ROTC will prepare me in making sound decisions by providing me with the tools needed for the everyday challenges and adversities met with on a daily basis by an Army Officer. As a cadet I expect to work hard to become better educated, physically, emotionally, and mentally fit as well as developing into a more inspiring team player and leader of character. One of my goals have been to be eligible to take honor and advance placement classes in preparation for university. I have achieved my goal by sacrificing, staying focused, asking for help and being persistent in my studies. Moreover, I have been taking honors and advance classes since my freshmen year. Other goals I have set and met include improving my score for my track meets and reading 150 books for my grade every year. My goals have helped me hone my work ethics and without diligence I would not have been able to accomplish my goals.…

Everybody designs goals in their lives, some you pursue, others you commence and something happens or you grow unenthusiastic and by no means complete. Then additional goals appear so far fetched you deem there is no feasible means that you will ever accomplish them, as a result you in no way get underway with it. This happens to many of us at different times in our lives. The only way that one will learn to set goals that they plan to accomplish is to actually start the goal and finish it. However, one must feel a purpose for setting forth to accomplish their goals. Without purpose no one will ever accomplish what they design for their future.…
