My Leadership Philosophy
Leadership
I have quite a few leadership roles in my life. I am a Family History Consultant in my church. I am able to help others find out about their ancestors and family history. At school, I am a leader because right now I am directing a mini musical, and so far it is going great! In my community, I am able to be a leader by helping others. I am also a leader in my home because I am the second oldest and I am able to help my younger siblings with their needs. I hope to have a great impact in our school by helping all I can around me. I love to get to know people and show them I care about them. I love the feeling I get when I am able to make other people around me happy.

Service
I have had lots of opportunities to serve all the people around me. It may be simple acts of service, but they make a difference. Sometimes on Sundays, I will make a dessert and write a small note to give to someone in the neighborhood anonymously. I love the thrill of helping others! The main …show more content…
I am a great friend because I am always there for my friends no matter what. I would never even think about ever hurting them in any way. My friends mean the world to me, and so I know that I am a great friend because I treat them with respect and kindness. I am loving because I love my family, friends, and all those around me. I love babysitting, and I am very successful in my babysitting company. I have noticed that because I love babysitting, all of the parents and the kids that I babysit want me to come back. They love that I love to babysit them! I often babysit my younger cousins. I love to play with them and have a good time with them. We almost always play outside, and I try to teach them new things.     Taking ENES 317 has exposed me to lot of knowledge such as one leadership/Management skills, personality types, approaches to problems and decision making. In the past, I believed that leadership was a quality that could be learned and taught, but I also thought that leadership would best fit people with some personal trait such as charisma or personality of an extrovert people.     In 8th grade I became heavily involved in my schools STEM program who specialized in Medical Skills and partook in HOSA state competitions. All my life I had shown an intense liking for helping others therefore medicine seemed as my calling and once joining STEM my interests in the medical field grew deeper and deeper as well as my passion for leadership. So when the chance to compete in the HOSA competition came about I jumped at the chance to win an award for my school.
