Welcome to Iloilo Water Treatment Plant! This was our first destination. I felt very amazed with what I saw for it comprises a very wide sedimentary basin, as what people there said. Even though I’m far from the speaker (can’t hear much!), I’ve gained something. That Metro Iloilo Water Distribution extracts its supply from Tigum River through an intake dam constructed in Barangay Daja, Maasin. From the dam, raw water is conveyed by gravity through a pipeline to a sedimentation basin in barabgay Buntalan, Maasin. As soon sedimentation process takes places, clean surface water flows down to an overflowing channel connected to the outlet basin passing through chlorination chamber where chlorine is adopted to sterilization. Well, aside from those I’ve mentioned, I heard nothing more because all of us were already busy taking pictures while touring the place. All of us were so excited to take pictures with friends in that place. It was my first time to visit such water plant and I was so glad with the idea that I’ve somehow gained something and took pictures of it.
Here we GO! This was our second destination, Maasin Watershed which covers 16 barangays in the towns of Maasin, Janiuay and Alimodian. It felt creepy as I toured the place because there are these birds that create a very unfamiliar sound, yaiks! Anyway, as I entered the forest, I was like in Forks (the setting of twilight) because as you can see in the pictures, it was really like it when I was imagining the setting before as I read the series. Well, my imagination really functioned quickly at that moment. (^-^) By the way, due to my curiosity, I asked our tour guide if they have
