My Inspiration

A person who has had a significant influence on me is my mom. My mom had to grow up a lot faster than the majority of her friends and not because she wanted to but because she had to. She was only nineteen years old and she was expecting a baby or to be more specific she was expecting me. I’m currently seventeen years old and it’s a struggle just to take care of my puppy who is a lot of responsibility and he is for the most part pretty self-dependent. To take on such a tremendous role at such a young age is incredible. Yes, my mom did have help from my dad’s mom and her own mom but she had to do everything still on her own. And the most important factor is my mom had my dad he decided to stick around which usually isn’t the case for most young mothers. In fact the moment my mom found out she was pregnant her and my decided that the one decent decision they could make was to get married to stick together when at the time life presented them both with a challenge. A challenge that my mom decided to face instead of neglect it was even happening and for that I’m forever grateful. She could have decided to get rid of me when she first found out taken care of a problem so she could have fun being young. Instead my mom made the decision to be selfless to put an innocent little life before her own and because of this I can gladly say is the reason I’m breathing right now. There was one thing though that made my mom so unique. My dad worked two jobs constantly to support his new family. My mom decided to do something that would forever change her life and one day my life, she went to school. I truly believe that someone had to have influenced my mom not only me but her own mom. My grandma was my mom’s role mode, l someone my mom truly admired in every way. So every day while my dad was at work and my mom was at school my grandma watched me grow up a little every day. While I was at home learning the beginning stages of life my mom was writing essays and reading books
