My Impersonator, A Biographic Film
Impersonator: An actor who attempts to imp–personate actual people for a role, such as in historical and biographical stories.
I chose Jamie Foxx for my impersonator actor. In 2004 Jamie stared in the title role of the film “Ray”. This film is a biographical film about the life of Ray Charles. Jamie did so well at portraying Ray Charles that he received an Academy Award for best actor.
Personality actor: An actor whose own personality tends to define all the characters he portrays, so that the actor’s name alone lets audiences know what their screen character will be like.
I chose Adam Sandler for my personality actor. Sandler is known for his comedy films such as, “Billy Madison”, “The Water boy”, “Happy Gilmore”, and plenty more films. He brings his own personality to every film is in. people know that when they watch a film with Sandler in it, they will hear eighties rock. Also, Adam uses a lot of the same characters in each movie.

I chose George Clooney for my star actor. Clooney had been in television since 1978. He got his big break playing Dr. Doug Ross in the series ER. That is when Clooney became recognized and started in his movie career. Since then he has been in numerous films. People Magazine names him the sexiest man alive in 1997 and again in 2006. His relationships are highly publicized and criticized. Fans even wanted to know what kind of pets Clooney favored. I think they were surprised when they found out it was a

Matt Dillion for example, really sold his performance as racist cop who abuses his authority. Dillon does a good job in showing how his character has a self-realization when he is pulling Thadie Newton’s character out of the burning car. She refuses his help because earlier in the movie he sexual harassed her, but Dillon’s character eventually gets her to put that aside and get her out of the fire. Dillion does an excellent job of showing how his character changed in that scene on how he should not abuse his authority on people. Another actor who did a good job was Ryan Phillippe. He played a cop who always tried to do the right thing but ends up killing a man who he thought had a gun but did not. Phillippe did a good job of showing how is character did the wrong thing when he shoots Larenz Tate’s character Peter. These two scenes show how both actors Matt Dillon and Ryan Phillippe sold their performances as a racist cop and a cop who wants to do the right…

The second person I want to write about is actor Mark Harmon. He has been an actor for his entire career, but is most known for his role of Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. In college, he was a football star, and went on to acting. He starred in the longest standing number one rated television series program, NCIS. No other television program has ever held that rating before or since.…

“Robert Mitchum was a one-of-a-kinder, he was a legend, bigger than life.” Bruce Dern, a former Co-star, said in an interview (“Robert Mitchum”). To be honest, he is the most legendary, but an exceptional actor in the whole film industry. He was a hobo before he started his acting career, and kept a hobo’s heart till he died (Clarke). He was an actor who was famous of acting as a “western” over 100 movies as well (“Robert Mitchum”). He was so special that until 1970s, a new generation of critics placed him in the first rank of screen actors, before that, he didn’t get any Oscar. Robert Mitchum, the most all-powerful actor in the movie stars’ history ever.…

When watching Hallmark network films, it is quite common to see certain actors featured regularly, and sometimes we don't even think about learning their names or looking up their other works, especially if they are in supporting roles. However, I have discovered that if I delve a little bit deeper, I often find that I come across incredible talent, and I understand why Hallmark chooses to highlight these gifted actors again and again. Matt Hamilton is one such actor. No matter what role he tackles, his presence on screen cannot be ignored, and he is one of those memorable personages. Recently, I had the opportunity to chat with Matt about his nontraditional journey into acting as well as his upcoming works, including Death Al Dente: A Gourmet…

In the movie "I am Legend" Will Smith was the star actor who played the role of Robert Neville. I think Will Smith is not only a star actor but also a wild card actor who can play a wide variety of characters equally well without becoming typecast (Goodykoontz, B., & Jacobs, C. P. 2011). Will Smith did a good job of protraying the life of a man who was left alone in the world with mutants and his only companion Sam a German Shepard. These mutants were results of a man-made virus that killed off most of the population. He was able to survive and not be affected by this virus because he was immune to the virus. In this movie Robert's family wife Zoe (Salli Richardson) and son Marley (Willow Smith) were killed in helicopter crashed…

The appearance and behavior of a character are extremely important. Whether it is in a movie or in literature physical description can say a lot. In the Canterbury Tales, the skipper had brown tanned skin and was the stout, fearless type. He was not one to be fooled with. He, in fact, was a tough and smart sailor. To cast his role today, a great choice would be Johnny Depp.…

Nicolas Cage is one of my role models because he is a severely underappreciated actor. His talent levels are off the charts, yet people just can’t seem to recognize his unbelievable skills as both an actor, and as an entertainer. But despite the hate he receives he continues to make Oscar-worthy motion pictures such as National Treasure, National Treasure 2, Ghost Rider, Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance, and Season of the Witch. He deserves a spot on my hypothetical Mt. Rushmore because of his intrepid nature and uncanny acting skills.…
