Character sketch: My Grandma
Grandma is the most important person in my life. Her name is Zhang Yu Fang. She is very warm, kind lovely and facetious. Grandma is always happy and she has the most beautiful smile in the world. Everyday she would come home from either her friend’s house or shopping and cook delicious food for grandpa. One thing I will remember most was when she touched my head with her gentle wrinkled hands. It felt so warm and lovely. She’s the best grandma in the world.

She was a small woman, much shorter than I am mot much taller than my mom. She had pure white hair. Her hair was quite long. Another fact about grandma is that she likes to wear the traditional Chinese clothes, because she thinks it’s comfortable. They call them Silk Robes, because they’re made out of silks. She’s almost 65 years old and she would get up at 6am every morning and go for a walk around the park.

Grandma is a very kind and fun person. She used to tell me really funny stories when I was little and I could still remember a couple. She likes to laugh and she talks a lot. Grandma likes to make fun of grandpa a lot because grandpa would sometimes try to tell us a joke that’s not funny at all, and grandma would laugh at grandpa and tell him to go learn some better jokes. Grandma also loves to cook. She’ll go to a restaurant and taste the food, and then when she gets home she could cook the exact same thing. I remember when we visited her in China, grandma opened the door; she...
