My First Trip to Six Flags
My church was having a trip to Six Flags and I didn’t want to miss it. Since we are in Killen and Dallas is a 3hr drive we decided to leave early (I’m guessing that’s the reason why). I got to church sometime around 6:30- 6:45 and left sometime around 7:00. We talked, listened to music and slept like on any trip. And it wasn’t all that exciting till we actually got there. Since this was my first trip there, i was VERY excited and anxious to ride the roller coasters. So we got there and walked around and decided to ride the titan. The Titan was the craziest roller coaster of them all. Now when you’ve never been on a roller coaster, the one thing you don’t know is that, they are MUCH bigger then they look. Before I actually rode the Titan, I did not think we were going to be so high up. We just kept going up..... And up..... And up...... and up..... And up.....
And in the back of my head I was thinking "WHEN IS IT GOING TO STOP." Then it happened, luckily. I was in the third row and could see the drop. T.T
I literally yelled: "Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!!"
Then it dropped, and I held on to the seat in front of me for dear life, and did not let go until the ride was over. The ride was beastly and I even felt lightheaded at one point due to the pressure being exerted on my head when the roller coaster started doing the twists. But all in all this ride was fun and should be ridden at least once if u ever go to Six Flags. Longer and bumpier then the Titan. If you want a smooth ride, then this is not for you. I only went on it once because yes it does sort of hurt during the ride because it’s made out of wood. All in all, this ride was fun but I think it would be more enjoyable if there weren’t so many bumps. I swear I hit my head on the seat like over 100 times. This was my first ride once I arrived to Six Flags and by far the best. I would love to go back to Six Flags just to ride this roller coaster one more

It was going to be a short ride only about 4 hours altogether through the South Dakota mountains. About an hour into our ride, we reached the mountains and as soon as we did Brody, Eli, Maddy, and I rode our horses to the top of the mountains. When we reached the top of the mountains we got off our horses and looked out over the South Dakota scenery, it was a beautiful view. I have never seen a better view in my life. You could see so far since we were up so high in the air and when we looked down at Tommy and Cassie they looked like ants. After we took a few pictures we headed back down to Tommy and Cassie. We went a little further after we got down from the mountain and then we turned back and headed towards camp. We arrived back at camp we washed, fed, and watered the horses. When we were done with that stuff we made a fire and started carving on sticks for a competition we were having and then at about 11 we went to…

So we went to Six Flags for a graduation trip for middle school and it is just a park full of roller coasters and intense rides. So we were there around 8:00 am and we were hyped and excited and most of the lines were super short. So the scariest ride was basically empty and friend that would be the best ride to go on first so we did. No matter how scared we were and wanted to get off because the ride was an actual drop. You go up and up and at the peak, you all of a sudden drop and your legs are hanging below you swinging around. This was really scary for me because this was first ride so I had no adrenaline pumping, and I had never been to this amusement park before and I was freaking…

Finally we found our destination and we ran to superman. The line on super man took forever, the ride broke down 2 times in line while we were waiting. When we got on I was so scared. I was screaming the whole time. Finally we got off the ride it was so fun. Our next ride we chose was the viper. That line felt like a breeze it went so fast before we knew it we were on it. When we got of the viper we went and got lunch I had chicken strips and french fries it was delicious. After we got done eating we sprinted to the raging bull the line was a breeze too. After we got off the raging bulls we walked to get a drink from the store. Next we went on the Goliath, everyone went except Jake because he was afraid. That was the last ride we went on, it was time to leave. So we waited outside for the bus to come and get us. We got on the bus it took us back to the hotel. Then we drove home and I slept over at Jake's because it was so late. I learned that I will not eat before I go on a ride because I felt…

Once I got off that ride I was ready to try a ride just as fun, but with speed. The next roller coaster I got on only spun me around in a circle, but it felt good to feel the wind hit me hard against my face. The ride started off slowly, then each time I, went around the pace picked up. The faster it went the more my heart began to race, and the harder it was to catch my breath from the wind hitting so hard. The speed of the roller coaster was amazing I was so excited to be going so quickly in such a rush.…

Walt Disney World is one of the most prominent places and superlative places to go, as it is one of the most frequently visited amusement parks in the world.…

I had to go on with my cousins Michael and Jimmy instead of Olivia or Rebekah. Michael, Jimmy and I were only two people away from getting on. Then Jimmy said,” I was afraid when I went on my first roller coaster too.” Michael said,” no you weren’t” that made me laugh. That made me think that it isn’t so scary after all. Just then I heard someone say that it’s too scary. That made me wish that I never wanted to go on. We’re up next. I got in the seat with Jimmy I thought I was going to puke. At this time I was excited and scared. The seatbelt was on; there was no turning back now.…

In order to determine the enterprise value and recovery rates for each class of creditors implied by the April 2009 attempted exchange offer, we first had to determine the priority levels of the capital structure. We used Exhibit 7 in the Case documents to determine the priority levels of each class. The top priority class included the SFTP Revolver and Term Loan; the second priority class included the SFO Notes; and the third priority class included the SFI 2010, 2013, 2014, and converible notes; The lowest priority was the PIERS preffered equity followed by common equity.…

A primary distinction between practical use of language and the literary use is that in literature, especially in poetry, a fuller use is made of individual words. To understand this, we need to examine the composition of a word. The average word has three component parts: sound, denotation, and connotation. It begins as a combination of tones and noises, uttered by the lips, tongue and throat, for which the written word is a notation. But it differs from a musical tone or a nose in that it has meaning attached to it. The basic part of this meaning is its denotation or denotations: that is, the dictionary meaning or meanings of the word. Beyond its denotations, a word may also have connotations. The connotations are what it suggests beyond what it expresses: its overtones of meaning. it acquires these connotations from its past history and associations, from the way and the circumstances in which it has been used. The word home, for instance, by denotation means only a place where one lives, but by connotation it suggests security, love, comfort, and family. The words childlike and childish both mean “characteristic of a child,” but childlike suggests meekness, innocence, and wide-eyed wonder, wild childish suggests pettiness, wilfulness, and temper tantrums. If we list the names of different coins – nickel, peso, lira, shilling, sen doubloon – the word doubloon, to four out of five readers, immediately will suggest pirates, though a dictionary definition includes nothing about pirates. Pirates are part of its connotation. Connotation is very important in poetry, for it is one of the means by which the poetry can concentrate or enrich meaning – say more in fewer words. Consider, for instance, the following short poem:…

My first ride on a roller coaster was a scary experience! I never had a thought of wanting to ride a roller coaster for different reasons. The reasons for that fear was the fear of heights and the thought of me falling off the ride or some type of malfunction causing the roller coaster to collapse. I would just watch other people get on the rides and listen to them scream their hearts out.…
