My First Date
My First Date

Why is everyone so stressed out about their first date? That’s an easy question. Everything depends how the first date goes to determent either you like that person or not. It’s like a test for the rest of the relationship. That’s why everybody wants, to make it original, special and a pretty moment that they could remember. Mine was all those things.
Last year, in New Year’s Eve, my best friend Omar and I had a date. He invited me to his family reunion at his house. At first I felt weird; I never had a first date at anyone’s house. Plus, he was my best friend that I recently discovered I liked, so was really nervous. But when I arrived I acted natural. I met his mother, a really nice lady, easy to talk to, maybe too easy; she was always talking to me. She made situation comfortable, I think she liked me and it was a good sign. And then I spent some time with his sister, she is a big fan of Justin Bieber and that was all that she talked about. She was really funny. Then I met his grandmother and his aunts. They were all really nice, and I started to like them.
After I met everybody, they went to eat dinner. I ate at my aunt’s house earlier so wasn’t very hungry. Omar just want it to be with me so he didn’t either. His family left us alone and I started to get nervous again. I talk and I talk, and I didn’t shut up. All he did was listen and laugh at me. When I finally shut up, there was a moment of silence. I started to stare at him, and realize, he had beautiful green eyes and they were looking at me. Then he grabs my hand slowly, and my chick turned red. I didn’t know what to say, I felt nervous. It was almost midnight, exactly11:55pm. He took me to the roof of his house so we could see the New Year’s fireworks better. Omar was holding my hand all the time. We sat there, looking at the sky waiting for the fireworks. We were down to three minutes. In those three minutes, he told me all this amazing things he liked about me that I couldn’t

I was ready. I picked up Mildred at her house, she was wearing a peach dress, she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. We got to the Carnival and the first thing we did was play a game. The game was to throw wooden ball at medium size ring of fire. I wanted to win Mildred a stuffed animal as I had promised her when I asked her out. The man asked her what she wanted she said “I would like a stuffed animal of a panda reading a book. The man typed it up on his tablet and it appeared. I don’t know why she wanted a panda reading a book, I myself would have chosen something cool like a phoenix or something but whatever made her happy made me even happier. The night went on, she was amazing she was funny and so sweet, I hoped the night would never end.. Then she asked if I wanted to go on the ferris wheel, I told her that I was afraid of heights, but she said don’t worry I am here for you. I couldn’t refuse an offer to sit so close to her in a cramped seat so I trusted her. When we got on she saw how scared I was so she grabbed my hand and started singing “L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole, that forever became our song. I saw that it was cold so I gave her my jacket. After the ferris wheel we decided to walk around, she was still holding my hand. We stopped by the pond looked at each other, I pushed her hair to her ear and went in for a kiss, as soon as I did the annual fireworks went off. It was a moment I’ll never forget. Instead of taking the monorail home we decided to walk. It suddenly started to rain she was looking for a roof we could go under but I…

When we were dancing, I could see from the corners of my eyes that someone was secretly following me. Even though he wore a mask which made him unrecognisable, it was already enough for me to be certain of how handsome he was. Maybe the reason I'm here tonight isn't because of Paris but because of him and maybe it is fate that I'm in the same room as my first love. Every…

My mother, being a big fan, asked him tons of questions about his music. Finally she left us alone when the phone rang. He then asked me if I wanted to spend the rest of the day with him. That was an offer I was definitely going to take. After we left, we went to this really fancy bar and had a drink together. We talked about almost everything from music to family to past relationships. We then went to a private beach he owned and all of a sudden he stopped and leaned in to kiss me and all of a sudden his phone rings. It was his mother. She said there was an emergency with one of the horses. Immediately we left to go back to his mother's house. Once we got to Maria's house, we went to the stables to Marc's horse, luna, who was having a baby. Watching a horse birth was both disgusting and beautiful. The look in Marc's eyes was unforgettable. He was so happy and excited. As we let Luna rest, he took me for a ride on another horse. The field for the horses to run was small but then there was a huge vineyard which we went through. We both smiled and Marc let go of the rope saying "Mirame, no hands!" I laughed and so did he until he lost control and began to fall off the horse. He grabbed my hand and we both fell; me on top of him. He looked…

I thanked him then I sit on the chair. He put a bread and variety of fruits on my plate, he also gave a cup of tea. “Do you want something else?
