My Favorite Thai Place Analysis

As I look on Yelp to see if my favorite Thai place is open, I begin salivating immediately over the 100+ pictures they have available. At this point, all I want to do is devour those warm delicious steamed pork dumplings, with fried bits of garlic mixed in with the chili soy sauce on the side. They are one of the top three things I love there, I put it as number two well, because they only give you four dumplings – and that’s FOUR TOTAL. With that much goodness, I need all four to myself. I hate sharing with my boyfriend, even though he is the one that introduced me to this best kept secret in Louisville, KY. At this site, the people come together each year to let go of one's hatred, anger and past transgressions. They do so by, making a container made with banana leaves or bread, placing some kind food dish in it, lighting a candle, sometimes placing a small coin and then setting it in to the river as to pay respects to the water spirits and Buddha. At this gathering, one can see lights floating on the waters, lantern lights in the sky; literally lights hanging from anywhere that is applicable. Seeing all of the beautiful lush vegetation in photos, the restaurant has strategically placed various tropical palm trees within to give that feel of freshness. As if one was indulging in fine cookery basking in the sunlight and fresh breeze on the Phi Phi Islands. Everything is set up to give the average person an authentic feel of Thailand to go with the authentic Thai formula. Brought by the kindest wait staff, even the menu itself includes both English and Thai or rather Siamese wordings. The people working are so pleasant and fluent in English, they would not be offended if one did try to order in their native tongue. Personally, I've never once tried to pronounce anything off of the menu, mainly I do not want to be disrespectful and I have no knowledge of how it should
I have taken several friends from different ethnic backgrounds and everyone has enjoyed it thoroughly. Every time I have visited, there is always an assortment of people having a good time over good food. Some old, some young, some middle aged, could be African American, Caucasian, Asian, Middle Eastern, Indian. Almost as though, it brings people together, a laid-back, casual vibe. Where everyone is treated like they are family, they are at home about to eat moms cooking. There are no tensions or judgments here; every person is treated equally and with respect. I would recommend this “hole in the wall” delectable restaurant to anybody and everybody, I love it that much. I advise the Asian population to go there more than anybody else. Being from a different country myself, I know how hard it is to find that authentic, home cooked meal. There is nothing in this world better than the type of foods one grew up eating, particularly if it originated thousands of miles away.
