My Clinical Experience As A Registered Nurse
Although my associate degree nursing education includes topics in pediatrics, my nursing experience, as a registered nurse (RN), has been limited to caring for adult patients, and as such, my knowledge in pediatrics is incomplete. What’s unique about my current experience in the pediatrics practicum is that I am following a physician who is specialized in pediatrics, and that offers me a clinical experience devoted to pediatrics. A firsthand experience how pediatrician manage children illness who are in deferent growth and developmental stages.
As a prospective family nurse practitioner, the clinical experience will help me to have the knowledge and skill that is necessary to diagnose and treat common children's illnesses, manage ongoing
