My challenging day at school
They were wandering in the hallways while telling jokes and stories and it was all fun until the scent of something burning was smelt. Jenny was scared and was uttering about how it was non of their business and that they should return to the canteen, when they saw a big bright fire emerging from the resource room. Hailey advised them not to panic and to help put out the fire. They putt off the fire alarms by breaking the glass. They started filling buckets of water and pouring them to extinguish fire. Many students joined and started throwing sands and dust over the fire. A few teachers were trying to control fire by throwing blankets on it. But the fire was ravaging. It was a horrible sight.
Meanwhile the fire brigade arrived. The teachers and students took a sigh of relief, because despite their best efforts they could not extinguish the fire. The staff of the fire brigade fought bravely with the fierce flames. Water pipes were laid to extinguish the fire. A staircase was set to the window of the first floor. A man took great risk. He brought out the staff in the room who couldn't escape and came down amidst flames. By doing so he himself was injured. The moment he brought down one of the inmates, he fell unconscious. Even the rescued teacher had serious burn injuries. The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital.
However, with a great deal of efforts the fire was finally extinguished but it caused great damage and destruction to the school. Furniture, valuable articles and other belongings burnt to ashes. The whole resource room presented a dismal picture. The books, the tables, and the chairs were badly affected. But thankfully no life was lost. The students and teachers were rescued with timely help and assistance by the staff of the fire brigade who put their lives to risk saving them. In course of which he sustained injuries. Later, when investigation was made, it was found that the leakage in the air-conditioning pipe had led to the outbreak of
