My Bucket list
Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen." -Michael Jordan. This quote tells me that I have to work hard to achieve goals and dreams, so when I made a bucket list I didn't choose things that were simple and didn't mean anything to me, I chose the things that meant a lot to me, even if they were small. I want to do 52 things before I die, and I am going to share 8 of those things I will hopefully do before I kick the bucket. The first thing I want to do is milk a cow, after that I want to go farther up north in Alaska to see the Aurora Borealis. While still in Alaska, I will fly up to Adak on the Aleutian Chain. Then I want to go to the more western states and try to see a tornado. Another hair raising activity will be to go ghost hunting. Next, I want to start traveling again and go to Loch Ness Lake. After all my crazy new adventures I want to go back home and relax and get a manicure/pedicure. The final, and most sentimental, thing I want to share is donate money to cancer patients. I am going to tell you about the challenges, and what is the most I can get out of each of the eight items I am sharing.

Have you ever tried milk straight from the cow? I haven’t so the first thing on my bucket list that I want to share is milk a cow. I know it sounds funny but it is something I have always wanted to do since my friend told me about it and said it tastes better than store bought milk. I don’t like the taste of store bought milk so I thought it would be a good idea to try it straight from the cow. I will probably do it in the next year or later because I am having difficulty in finding someone who owns a cow. I’m afraid of the cow kicking me while I milk it, and that might result in me chickening out. Another difficulty is that I might be allergic to the milk, or might even like less than the store bought kind. But if I like it I would probably tell all my friends about it. When I milk a cow I will make sure to bring my

“A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.”- Colin Powell. Everyday of my life, I followed this lesson in life and it will continue to run through my blood forever. In following this life lesson, in six years, I see myself as a mature twenty-three-year-old adult still in college and working each and every day for my bachelor’s and even master’s degree. After receiving my degree, I hope to have my own business and on the side apply to a company like, Apple and pursue my engineering skills in the field that I’m assigned too. I would also like to be a role model and help out the community any way I can and show everyone that hard work can lead to unbelievable things in life. Also, I would like to start my own family and raise my children to be respectful, kind, mature and…

Candy Chang, an actress and competitor in international pageants, gave a talk on how she helped others realize their dreams. When people hear about the topic of death, they become uncomfortable and fearful. Most are afraid of death because of the possible pain; but what about the pain of not achieving your dreams? Chang speaks of a project that she intended simply for a neighborhood nearby in New Orleans that ended up all over the world. She turned a run-down building into a chalkboard. This chalkboard had the bold letters “before I die I want to . . .” written across the top and backed up with empty lines, waiting to be filled. The huge chalkboard filled up in one day, and people continued to fill out the prompt for as long as there was any…

Since the birth of the human race, the consumption of milk has been a popular nutrient. Currently, cow’s milk is considered the most consumed in the entire United States. However, contrary to popular belief, cow’s milk is not a viable source to drink from. Although it may contain many vital ingredients that living organisms need to survive, it is riddled with hormones, antibiotics, pus, and even blood. Cow’s milk is not intended for the consumption of humans; cow’s milk is for cows. The milk from cows is also believed to directly influence the creation of cancer cells.…

“Work hard, dream big, do the impossible, and fly to the stars.” These are the words I always heard from my Father when I was growing up. From time to time, I face challenges, ones that would literally make me break down and cry. As I sob to my last tears, my father’s voice would echo through my mind, a distant voice from the past, that would propel me to run after the invisible silhouette in front of me. “No moment should be wasted, and I should live my life to the fullest,” I whispered.…
