My Biome: Tropical Rainforest
My biome is terrestrial. It is found in South America,Africa, and Asia. The thing that is unique about my biome is that there are certain features common to all tropical rainforest. Some producers and consumers are a plant and the butterfly eats the leaves off the trees and plants which makes the butterfly a primary consumer. Next the frog eats the butterfly which makes the frog a secondary consumer. After that the snake eats the frog which makes the snake a tertiary consumer. Finally when the snake dies it gets decomposed by the mushroom or any type of fungi. This helps the organisms in this biome because they have specialized fur and have adaptations.Like how some trees depend on other animals to spread seeds of their to distant parts

The levels of organization of a community is simple. It starts with the primary producer, then the primary consumer, secondary consumer, tertiary consumer, and lastly the decomposer. Some examples of producers are algae, sea weed, and any other type of potosynthetic organism. A pyramid of production is a pyramid that shows the loss of energy with each transfer in a food chain. At the bottom of the pyramid are the large amount of autotrophs with the most energy. The next (but smaller) level is the group of primary consumers (insects and other herbivores) who only get ten percent of the autotroph’s energy. Next are the small group of secondary consumers, who only get ten percent of the primary consumer’s energy. The top level consists of the smallest group, the tertiary consumers who only receive ten percent of the secondary consumer’s…

A savanna is a flat grass-covered region with scattered shrubs, bushes, and isolated trees, which can be found between a tropical rainforest and desert biome. A savanna is one type of grassland biome. The temperatures of savannas differ according to its season. During the dry season the temperatures are either very hot or cold. In the wet season the temperature is usually warm. If the savanna biome were to receive a little less rain it would become a desert. If it got a little more it would become temperate grassland. Savannas are typically dry receiving less than 30 inches of rain on average in a year. As little as 4 inches of rain fall during the dry season. The dry climate mixed with intense heat will result in wildfires which are common in this biome.…
