My Autobiography

I was born during the summer on August 15, 1987 in Lafayette, Louisiana. I currently live in Fort Polk, Louisiana on the military base there. When I was born, my parents considered me as their miracle baby. My mom was thirty-seven years old when she gave birth to me. The doctor told her that she couldn't have any kids and they had been trying but could never conceive. I sometimes become lonely because I have no siblings but most of the time I try to stay busy.

My name is Taaka Mayo. I started school when I was four-years-old. I went to pre-k through sixth grade at North Elementary and while I was there, I participated in many sports and won numerous athletic awards. I also was awarded for honor roll all semesters. Then I attended Sunset Middle, and there I played basketball and ran track for two years. Lastly, I attended Opelousas High School and was involved in many activities and graduated on May 19, 2005. After finishing high school I decided to join the military and I am currently still enlisted. I also love serving my country and I am proud to be an American.

The year 2015 will make ten years that I am in the army, so I will end my enlistment and explore other options that’s out there for me. I will be done with my degree and I will become a flight attendant and move to Atlanta, Georgia. Hopefully, God will bless me with the man of my life and I will get married and start a family. I will continue travelling the world and seeing different things and meeting new people.

I hope you have enjoyed reading my autobiography as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I look forward to reading everyone else's bio and familiarizing myself with my classmates and instructor. Try to get as much as possible out of school because education is the key to success. Good luck to

Ever since I was a young kid, I was extremely fond of music. Music was all around me: on the television, in school, at the store, and especially in the car. Not only did I love to listen to music, but I loved to play it as well. I am not saying I was any good at playing music, because I was not. But to a young child, hitting their hand on anything could be music, and to me it definitely was.…

I attended Tate Elementary, Pickens Middle, and Pickens High. School was always problematic and challenging. My testing scores were always below average and I felt like I was inferior when compared to my other classmates. During middle school I developed depression, gained 200 pounds, and was diagnosed with dyslexia and pre-diabetes.…

I was born at 11:55 am on a Saturday in the Kern Medical Center on February 7, 2003. My mom and grandma were arguing about what my name was gonna be. My grandma said Mercedes (gosh what a horrible name), but my mom said, Breanna. They agreed but my grandma said Mercedes had to be in there somewhere, but my mom thought that was an ugly name ( which I agree with). I don’t know the rest after that but then that’s how I became Breanna Sadie Reyes. 6 months later I said my first word and it was Poppa. My mom wasn’t sure if I was trying to say Grandpa or Papas (potatoes), I guess will never know. Thursday, February 7, 2004, was my first birthday and I was obsessed with Winnie the Pooh, so obsessed that I took a picture of Winnie the Pooh holding a 1 in his hand and I was so happy.…

My life started on December 13, 1999 In Ahoskie, North Carolina. I was born at 12 p.m. As my family would tell it was a very different day for everyone. I was my mom’s first born child and the same for my dad. I really don’t remember much about my childhood. The furthest back I remember is like 4th grade way back when I made my mother proud. I had straight A’s and I never had a single write up. I always tried to do the best I could to get through the years and I did well until the sixth grade.…

It is so difficult to live in the United States, the land of opportunity, without education and the English language. Without these two things, our lives seem like meaningless. My family is one of the victims of this problem. Two years ago, when I was a senior student in high school, I almost could not graduate from high school with diploma in hand because of failing the exit exam twice and my lack knowledge of English. At that time, I really wanted to give up and ended my education at that level, but the encouragement of my parents had helped me go through this challenge to succeed the first accomplishment in my life.…

Honestly, I cannot say for sure why I’ve decided to write an autobiography. I suppose I want a legacy, something to leave behind after I’m gone. Perhaps I hope that someone will read my rather unorthodox views on life and science. In retrospect, my life so far has been rather intriguing to less than intriguing people, but I digress. Let’s get on with the story of my life.…

It’s kind of funny though because we are better friends now then we ever were. I am from North Idaho but have been living in Central Washington at Moses Lake. I moved here in May so that I could be here for my two youngest boys who live with their daddy. I use my ex 's computer during the day for classes so I can be here for the boys when they get out of school, then I go to my apartment in the evenings. I have three kids...Chadd is 25 and lives in Spokane WA., Hayden Myles is 11, and Carter Theodore is 8. My daughter Madison passed away in Feb of 2007, she was born 4 and 1/2 months early, weighed 1 lb. 6 oz. she was beautiful and I never dreamed she wouldn 't make it. Unfortunately 27 days later she passed on, her lungs were not able to support her tiny little body, so I had to make the hardest decision of my life. It took 6 minutes for her tiny heart to stop beating after they removed life support. She is an angel among us now!!! It took me about 10 months to jump back into life and that 's when I enrolled at UOP. So last night was the end of my first year. I did it!!! I have worked really hard to get to this point.…
