A Relaxing day at the Beach
Have you ever had a bad day at the beach? The beach can be a very relaxing Place to be. There are many things about the beach that make it a calming place. The most obvious things are the sights and sounds, from the ocean and the sandy shores. There isn`t much to dislike at the beach, unless you get sunburned. When you go to the beach, it is usually after winter, so it`s extremely relieving to go to the hot, sunny beaches. Overall, a trip to the beach can be a calming getaway from the stress and pressure of everyday life.

The greatest things to see at the beach are the enormous sand dunes that dot the edge of the beach, the sparkling, white sand, or the seemingly endless ocean. One of the greatest things I have ever seen at the beach was a killer whale leaping out of the horizon of the ocean. You can also sometimes see the occasional boat floating in the water, or a plane flying in the clear, blue sky advertising some business around the area. The sounds of the beach are probably the most calming thing there. When you walk down the beach you can hear the waves roll in and crash onto the shore, or if you are in a tropical location, you can hear the waves smack into the jagged rocks around the cliffsides. During the day, the beach is not quite as peaceful, though, considering all the huge crowds of people littered across the beach using loud, booming radios, dogs barking, and the loud, screaming kids. Although they can be annoying, the birds and seagulls flying overhead can make amazing formations above the beach.

Though you might not think it, there are many tastes and smells at the beach. As you walk down the beach, the smell of the salty sea and the taste of the mist spraying out of the ocean reminds you that summer has started and makes you wish it would never end.
