This week will be second presentation and the topic was Multinational Corporation vs. Host Country. The three groups that are presenting are Perseverance, Esprit de Corps, and Royal. . The consortium name is Galaxy Consortium. The presentation started with the opening ceremony when they invited Mr.Said switch on the light.
The first group present was Perseverance and the two presenters were Lee Seng Kiat and Yap Kian Hong. They start the presentation on what are Multinational Corporation and the reason to become it. The group focused on advantages and disadvantages of Multinational Corporation. Besides that, they have included the video of ICT for their presentation. They talked about the effect of Multinational Corporation on host country and challenges and solutions to Multinational Corporation. Finally, the talked about the ethical issue and made the conclusion for their presentation.
The second group that present was Esprit de Corps and the two presenters were Gan Siew Huay and Kwan Pei Hwa. They begin their presentation with the history and definition of Multinational Corporation. They continue their presentation with the size and prevalence of Multinational Corporation, multinational index, top 6 destination for FDI, the world’s top 10 non- financial TNCs, the top 10 non- financial TNCs from developing countries, factors influencing location of companies, challenges to Multinational Corporation, OLI framework, and motives for companies to operate as Multinational Corporation.
