Mohammad Ali (b. January 17, 1942), Louisville, KY, USA) - American professional boxer, who spoke in the heavyweight category. Is generally recognized "icon sport", one of the most famous and recognizable athletes in history, and the greatest person in the box. After a title clash with Sonny Liston, which was held February 25, 1964, Cassius Clay joined the organization "Nation of Islam" and changed his name to Cassius X and then to Muhammad Ali and later served under him. At his peak, refused to serve in the U.S. Army, after which he was stripped of all his titles and banned from boxing for more than three years. On his return to the sport regained all the titles in the fight with the best boxers of the time that historians call the "golden period in the box." Between Ali and Joe Frazier was one of the most famous in the history of sport. At the end of the sports career has been actively engaged in charitable activities.
