EVENING EVERYONE
I AM SO PLEASED I FOUND THIS SITE!
I NEED HELP ON THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS, I JUST DON'T SEEM TO BE ABLE TO GET MY HEAD ROUND IT! mandatory unit
2.explain expectations about own work role as expressed in relevant standards
(i take it this IS CQC standards but i dont understand the question about expectations)
3.evaluate own knowledge, performance and understanding against relevant standard
not sure why these two questions have puzzled me so much! all help appreciated, thankyou carebear

Reply Quote expectations is what they are looking for or wanting you to have so the standards expect staff to have the relevant skills in place to support service users, to answer your question it would be something like this, in accordance with the standards of having the right skills is is part of my work role to ensure that i go to any relevant training that my work offers me.
for question 3 this is where you think about yourself (evaluating). so think about the relevant standard.....how do you think your knowledge, performance and understanding is? you would write something like this.......when i supported joe bloggs with his dietary needs i felt i strongly met the cqc standards of (insert relevant standard) by offering him choices, listening and respecting his deciions etc etc etc.
i am not based in england so dont follow these standards so thats why its a bit skimpy on the relevant information. hope that
