Foreign Entry Potential:

To expand a market and make it more international, we decided to do it in another country than Canada: Russia. Our company decided it was a god time to go international. We chose Russia for several reasons.

Russia is the biggest country in the world and the ninth most populated country with around 143,5 millions people. That makes of Russia an enormous market. Also Russia is a country situated in both Asia and Europe sides, which is an advantage for us. Since Canada is in the North America, it is very far from most of the countries. Russia can play a platform for the business initiated in Canada for the european and asian countries.
Russia is part of the five emergent countries with very rapid growth( the BRICS). Since the 21st century, Russia knows a very rapid growth with its new politic. Russia is now a member of the G8(the 8 countries with the largest economies) and the G20. Economically, Russia is on of the top countries in the world. It is estimated that Russia will be a complete superpower. In addition, Canada could enter the Trans-Pacific Partnership, while Russia might too. It is a very big advantage.
We didn’t choose Russia only for its market size and growth. We also chose it because it is one of the coldest countries in the world(the second). In Russia, the winter is very harsh and very long. Even the summer is cold in some places. That is a reason we decided to expand the market to Russia, by evaluating the needs of a population. Although this cold country is well-equipped for the cold, there has never been electric-heated jackets, which are light, warm and fashion. Since there is no this kind of jackets, the competition should not be very intense for this product. More a product is differentiated, more the competitive advantage is important. Hence, it would be good to open a market in this country. In the fashion industry, Russia is one of the most advanced and active

For centuries, Russia was cut off from most of Western civilization. This is due in part to Russia's geography. Russia has, what is called a natural barrier. Russia's natural barrier is simply its huge expanse. It is hundreds of miles from Moscow or St. Petersburg to any Western city. This isolation was a hindrance, and an advantage throughout history, politically, socially, and economically.…

Russia was a vast country and industrially backward. They were at a serious disadvantage as they were 40 years behind the rest of the world industrially. This was because although they had a lot of resources such as coal and oil, they could not get to it. The ground was frozen and Russia did not have the machinery or the experts to get to their resources. Therefore they had to seek foreign aid and employed experts to handle the machinery from other countries. To pay for this Russia sold Alaska to America which became the 49th state.…

Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH) is a rare syndrome that not only causes physical conditions but emotional. The psychological effects of woman diagnosed with MRKH have never been fully discovered. The hypothesis and or purpose of this study is to evaluate self-report measures of psychological distress in woman with MRKH syndrome compared to woman without MRKH syndrome. A group of woman with MRKH will be assessed through anxiety, depression, and self-esteem scales to determine any psychological distress MRKH had on them when they first received the diagnosis up until later on in life. Similar studies and theories believe that coping with infertility can be taxing and cause psychological issues throughout a woman’s life. I belief observing woman when diagnosed with MRKH as well as following up with woman after dealing with the initial shock of this syndrome will give insight to being able to give proper coping skills to not only woman with MRKH syndrome but woman with infertility issues.…

Canada was established as Middle Power Country at the end of the Second World War. This status establishes the fact that they are a “nation which is recognized on an international scale with a large influence globally, however they do not have dominance over any one area” (Pagtakhan, personal communication, March 12, 2013). This status was achieved primarily because of their international fiscal aid and technological advancements. Canada, however it was incapable of reaching the status of a superpower due to their relations in the international arena with China and Cuba.…

At the MAGIC Show in Las Vegas, where producers present their newest textiles and coat makes to a retailers audience, we have our first insight in the clothing industry. It is obvious which countries play the dominant role in the market. The United States and Italy no longer hold the global leader position anymore. China, India and other low wage countries have taken over the market. Additionally, the rules of production have changed. Nowadays, one single producer hardly ever produces complete coats. In fact, parts of a coat travel more than 60'000 miles and hundreds of hands touch it before it reaches the end customer.…
