Hello my name is Grant Heisinger and I am 17 years old. I live with my mom Rita Heisinger and Kriss Heisinger. My older brother Garrett Heisinger attends San Francisco State University. We moved to California in 1999. We built a house out in the country part of elk grove, but when my dads business started sinking we then moved into a gated community just five minutes away from the old house. My father’s side of the family is German, and my mom’s side of the family is Hispanic and Irish. I enjoy being around my mom’s side more; they are always just full of energy and always happy. I love being around the house, my family is always joking around with each other and having a good time. I believe that God made us this way. God has set up my family to be successful and set us around caring and loving people. My mom is a first grade teacher so she is great with kids, that’s why I feel like she is the one who made me who I am today. She was always there for me and always told me to treat people with respect. My dad has made me who I am in sports. He has always been there pushing me to be the best I can be. There was an event that happened in our lives where we realized that live every day like its your last, because you never know when your time will come. My best friend past away and it was out of no where. The way I am living my life right now I will be a successful man someday with a beautiful wife and two children.…

“ Throughout our history ,we [Americans] have been willing to trade freedom for safety during wartime”(St Luis Post Dispatch Editorial,11 October 2001).This essay will argue that a responsible government has to protect its citizens and this protection will include the use of censorship but it should not resemble an authoritarian country otherwise freedom of speech and free exercise of religion will be lost. An examination will be made about the positive aspects of censorship and why censorship is so vital to our culture, there will also be an examination about the negative impacts of censorship and how some governments try to use it to manipulate its citizens and lastly there will be emphasis to how censorship should and can be used in a democratic society.…

There is almost no evidence of the effectiveness of person centred planning compared to other approaches. In practice individual planning only reaches a minority of service users .There are problems in resourcing the level of individual planning. Where individual plans are created ,they are often a paper exercise. There are evidence that individual plans are not well connected to the real lives of people using services. The failure of individual planning is not primarily due to lack of understanding or the kind of planning approach used ,but a by-product of the need for public and private sector to control their budgets. Another feature…

It is common for people to take things in their life for granted. This not only applies to possessions but also to loved ones and situations. It is only usually when these things are taken away that the person appreciates just how important they were. If humans could fully appreciate all the good they currently have in their life the world would be a much better place, but this is not likely to happen anytime soon. Taking things for granted just seems to be part of human nature.…

The preparation of a written business plan is not the end-result of the planning process. The realization of that plan is the ultimate goal. However, the writing of the plan is an important intermediate stage - fail to plan can mean plan to fail. For an established business it demonstrates that careful consideration has been given to the business's development, and for a startup it shows that the entrepreneur has done his or her homework.…

In this post I will outline the foundations of my professional practice. I will state my own personal values and explain how these affect my teaching. I will also list the important social and cultural values that I take into consideration in my professional practice. I will draw upon my knowledge of child development and of best practice in education to outline programming issues that are at the core of my personal teaching philosophy. I believe that each person has the right to self-development and realization of their own potential. Therefore I will design my programmed to accommodate this for each individual child. I will take time each day to reflect how my programmed meets the needs of individual children. I believe that the teaching profession is one aspect of my life that allows me to reach my own intellectual and spiritual potential. Therefore I will continue to reflect upon and celebrate my own achievements. I will endeavor to reflect individually and with others, as this will enhance my thinking. I believe in the saying ‘it takes a whole village to raise a child’. Therefore it is my responsibility to take part in caring for all children that are a part of my life; in my own family, in my community, in my own classroom, and in other classrooms. I value physical health and well-being and believe they are essential for a happy life. Therefore I will promote healthy practices and physical activity for my students. I will also aim at maintaining my own personal health and well-being to model these to the children and to keep in the best possible physical state to be able to do my job well. I value learning as a lifelong process. Therefore I see myself as a learner and will continue to make the most of every learning opportunity, from within and outside of the teaching profession, engaging in discussion and discovering other viewpoints…

M.D. Makut conducted an investigation aimed to determine the diversity of mesopholic fungi in the soil environment of Keffi metropolis and making an assement of their antibiotic producing potential. The term antibiotic has been defined in many different ways. According to Thomashow, L.S and Weller (1995), antibiotics defined as a chemically heterogeneous group that small organic molecules of microbial origin that at low concentration, are deleterious to the growth or metabolic activities of other microorganisms. A more interesting definition from Dutta and A.C (2005) that antibiotics as a miracle drugs of modern times that act as magic bullets shooting down the infective organisms that have invaded the human body and caused infections. From Sommer and C.V 2006, it stated that the first, best known and most widely used antibiotic penicillin was discovered by an English bacteriologist, Sir Alexander Fleming and was the first clinical trials tried on human. Taylor, D.J, Green, D.PO and Stout (2003) noted that Sir Alexander Fleming accidently discovered the penicillin in 1982 which show its efficiency in laboratory cultures against many disease producing bacteria and this discovery lead to the beginning development of antibacterial compounds by living organisms. Walsh. G 2003 mentions that Sir Alexander Fleming also discovered one of the most important in 1928 regarding the beneficial use of fungi for human that an isolate of Penicillium notatum produced a substance capable of killing Gram positive bacteria. This compound was the first member of the β-lactam class of antibiotics and function by inhibiting peptidoglycan synthesis in bacteria and their use has reduced the important of the Gram positive as a cause of disease. From Dutta and A.C (2005), in 1994, a Microbiologist Waksman isolated another antibiotic streptomycin from a species of soil bacteria called Streptomyces griseus, particulary tubercle bacilli and has proved to be very valuable against tuberculosis.…

Core competencies are the bundle of skills and resources that allow a company to compete successfully, achieve profitability and be the foundation of competitive advantage. (Johnson, Whittington, Scholes, 2011).Business in the past would have considered core competencies something that was to be held in house and closely guarded. The increasing complexity of businesses means that what a core competency is and how it should be controlled has become less obvious. The ability to keep these competencies in house is almost impossible (Shreefal, 2007). At Holden, for example, a core competency would be the design of cars. Even within this core competency there are many aspects that would be outsourced. For example: they wouldn’t write the software that is used to draw the car and they probably use outside design houses, engineers and mathematicians to look at certain aspects of a new design. Dell for example looks like it has computer manufacturer as a core competency, but doesn’t make anything just assembles the parts. The complexity, high level of dynamism (rate of change) and number of manufacturers with in the computer market mean the power of suppliers is low enough that it doesn’t need to keep these competencies in house. In the past the outsourcing of core competencies has been cyclical in nature. Companies have been prepared to outsource more in good times and as times get tough or there is a problem they are brought back in-house again. With the rise of better communications, complexity of projects and efficiency of transport infrastructure many companies will be forced to outsource core competencies to compete (Merrifield, 2006). Taking this to its logical conclusion is outsourcing everything. This leads to the issues that are demonstrated by the local tool “manufacturer” GMC, who did none of their manufacture in house, which made outsourcing a core competency. The problem created was that large retailers such as Bunning’s also have…

Nouthetic counseling (Greek: noutheteo, to admonish) is a form of pastoral counseling that holds that counselling should be based solely upon the Bible and focused upon sin, and that repudiating mainstream psychology and psychiatry as humanistic, radically secular and fundamentally opposed to Christianity. Its viewpoint was originally articulated by Jay E. Adams, in Competent to Counsel (1970) and further books, and has led to the formation of a number of organizations and seminary courses promoting it. The viewpoint is opposed to those seeking to synthesize Christianity with secular psychological thought, but has failed to win them over to a purely Biblical approach. Since 1993, the movement has renamed itself Biblical counseling to emphasize its central emphasis on the Bible. The Baker Encyclopedia of Psychology and Counseling states that "The aim of Nouthetic Counseling is to effect change in the counselee by encouraging greater conformity to the principles of Scripture."…
