The best advice to receive is the advice you will carry with you forever. The best advice I have ever received was given to me from a good friend’s father. That advice is called eff it. We were sitting out by a fire when all of a sudden we heard an amazing voice singing “something else” by queensrych. We all jumped up and went inside to find my buddies dad jerry singing. He is not the type of guy I expected to be singing. Everybody sat down and had to listen to the beautiful voice that was coming out of that old stubborn man’s mouth. We all ended up singing that night but when it came to my turn I said no. Jerry asked me to stand up and empty my pockets so I did. I pulled out a lighter and my wallet. He said that I was missing something he said “here take this” and handed me a hand full of nothing. I asked him what it was supposed to be. He was like its eff it. I ended up singing up that night. Ever since that night I always carry a handful of eff it on me everywhere I go. It is something I never want to leave behind no matter what. It is such a useful tool. Thanks to jerry and eff it I have done so many things that I probably wouldn’t have done ever in my life. I follow this advice every day. In the morning when I don’t want to get up or when I’m speeding and at the last second I see a cop at the last second. Even at this point in my life when I am quitting smoking and I have to tell myself every day eff it you don’t need it.
The best advice I ever received is eff it. This is the best advice because it came from one of my good friend’s dad. Also because it doesn’t take up any space in my pockets and I will always know it is there in my pocket at all times. Eff it is the best advice for me because I never thought such an easy word could become such a big thing to live by. Since that day forward eff it has been my motto and I have made it one of the standards I live my life by. That is the best advice ever.

Throughout life people are provided with lots of advice. Whether they take the advice or not, they should always listen. Doctor Faustus by Christopher Marlowe teaches the lesson on why you should always listen to advice that is given. The advice given may not always be the best, but it should be considered even if it is not used. The book shows that if you really listen to the advice given, it will most likely help in the long run. Faustus was confronted by an old man who gave the advice to “leave this damned art and do not persevere in it like a devil.” When he was told this by the old man he did not listen to his advice at all and blew it off as if what he was saying was irrelevant…

All I can say of what I learned from this is that I tend to see the negative first. It took me far too long to realize that was not the best way to view the world. Giving and receiving life advice is a topic that should be taken seriously due to the potential results it can yield. It’s actually almost natural. It’s instinct to give and seek advice from others. Many people have different priorities, which can lead to a need for an entirely different spectrum of advice. Sometimes giving advice can easily prevent a situation, or in extreme conditions, turn someone’s life around. It can be tremendously valuable because even if someone doesn’t accept your advice, it gives them ideas to contemplate in order to solve the problem. I would like to say that life is way too short to make the all of the mistakes ourselves. Might as well let somebody inform you of what didn’t work out for them. I’ll be mentioning life advice that personally has had an impact on the way I think and act. This advice touches up on the subjects of lying, future planning, and most important of all, personal life satisfaction.…
