Grant Heisinger

My History Hello my name is Grant Heisinger and I am 17 years old. I live with my mom Rita Heisinger and Kriss Heisinger. My older brother Garrett Heisinger attends San Francisco State University. We moved to California in 1999. We built a house out in the country part of elk grove, but when my dads business started sinking we then moved into a gated community just five minutes away from the old house. My father’s side of the family is German, and my mom’s side of the family is Hispanic and Irish. I enjoy being around my mom’s side more; they are always just full of energy and always happy. I love being around the house, my family is always joking around with each other and having a good time. I believe that God made us this way. God has set up my family to be successful and set us around caring and loving people. My mom is a first grade teacher so she is great with kids, that’s why I feel like she is the one who made me who I am today. She was always there for me and always told me to treat people with respect. My dad has made me who I am in sports. He has always been there pushing me to be the best I can be. There was an event that happened in our lives where we realized that live every day like its your last, because you never know when your time will come. My best friend past away and it was out of no where. The way I am living my life right now I will be a successful man someday with a beautiful wife and two children.

I, the general manager of Hiram Miller Chicago branch, am considering we should have something done with our current warehouse on Jefferson Street. The basic problem is that the 60-year-old warehouse is not capable for our daily business from many aspects any more as we move into the 21st century. Due to many limitations, the shortcomings to run that warehouse are overwhelming the advantages it remains. Small size, inefficient layout, obsolete facilities, low-tech equipments and bad working environment are dragging our company down within such an intense competition nowadays.…

I come from a very dysfunctional family; I am the older of the two children that were produced by my parents. I have a younger sister named Nicole Marie Stover. We are the result of my father’s third marriage, the only offspring he is aware of. He has been married seven times to date, the latest one has been the longest lasting, their twentieth anniversary was a few days ago. He made it quite clear when he came in one morning with Carol, my now step-mother of twenty years, that he was going to make this one work no matter what it took. Well this included striking me out of the picture as I was a troubled young lad. But let’s go back to the beginning of my life, the beginning of this story. I was born Sunday November 09 of the year 1980 to George Adam Stover, III and Dawn Marie Stover (Adams) in the wonderful town of Baltimore that’s located in the state of Maryland at Saint Josephs Hospital. My father was a feature photographer for WMAR Channel 2, where I spent a good portion of my time at playing on the editing room floor and…

It was back on August 24, 1995 at 9; 07 am when I brought into this world by Maria White-Dumas and Stanley. Their first born child then a minute later my twin popped out. Since that day I have been here in Atlanta, GA where I reside at 1978 Phillips Drive. There on my parents have made two additions to our family; my 15 year old brother Jahmal and my 12 year old brother Chris. I can honestly say my family is the greatest thing in the world. My mom is a Purchasing Agent for United Distributors, and my dad is an ISS teacher at King Middle School and South Atlanta High School’s Head Baseball and Softball coach. And with a family of all boys and crazy different personalities I have much respect for my parents for continuing to love us and put up with us. Then you have to move on……

As governor, Miller campaigned to establish a state lottery. He succeeded in getting laws passed that restricted lottery proceeds to fund pre-kindergarten programs, capital and technology enhancements for Georgia schools, and most innovative of all, the HOPE Scholarship program. My mother is a first generation Mexican American with rich Mexican traditions that are still influential in our lives. I could not begin to describe the odd characteristics I possess, but when asking my peers they told me that I was somehow strangely unique. I was never that girl who stood in with the “in” crowd nor did I ever seem like the type that stood by myself, I was in any case just me. Growing up I never really ever fashioned myself as being in any group but I could talk to almost anybody. Kids back then did not see in color. I am an African American student, according to everyone else I “marched to the beat of my own drum” but again to me I was just Jasmine. I came from an abusive home, I never really had much clothes but I did what I could to make it work, and I loved sports, it’s how I expressed myself and released frustration. As my generation grew older I noticed people I once could talk to didn’t. They began to look at me different and strange, it took me some time to realize what they were doing was natural to them because the human mind tends to gravitate to things it is use to; instead of thinking in black and white they finally saw color, as I was forced to come to the realization of when I was young. I still trudged on, known as an outcast but still one that kids looked up to. I believed in myself my rights and my dreams and I am determined to make them come true. By the grace of God, he has now moved obstacle’s and people out of my way to let me succeed in life. Not letting anyone tell me otherwise I stood up for myself, and I would never take no for an answer. As stubborn as I am, I am a true friend, a lover of all things, and a genuinely caring person. I’m the girl you would never guess enjoys country music and wearing her boots on a Friday night, the girl that could make just about anyone laugh, the girl who is wildly passionate on any given subject, the girl that goes to sleep at 3o clock in the morning finishing homework after getting…

My parents had lived in Illinois their whole life and grew up there so when we moved back to Illinois it was basically saying that we were just going home. My name was chosen by my mom because she said that Danielle was one of her favorite girl names. She also said that one of her good friends name is Danielle and my mom told her that she was gonna name me after her. A couple days after I was born is when the first ever school shooting happened at Columbine High School in 1999 in Colorado. I share a birthday with Kassidy Steffen and Colleen Daniels. The first couple years of my life I honestly do not remember. My mom has told me stories about when I was a baby. When I was little I loved to help out and do whatever my mom was doing. From doing the dishes to making cookies I was there to help out. My mom told me that I was a momma's girl. I always cried when my mom left to go to work. I also had a big imagination and always like to…

My mom was born in the city of Saigon in a family of fifteen. She is the second youngest child in the family. After the fall of Saigon, my mother’s family was actually sponsored by her third oldest sister to move to America as my aunt had been living there as a lawyer. Her family was way more prepared than my father’s family as my mother’s family was able to get to America by plane. Like my father, my mom started her journey in America in Louisiana. They had lived in New Orleans for a couple of months. It wasn’t until the family had traveled west in which they moved to Houston due to the sponsorship. My mother was around seventeen when she started school in America. She knew no English, but that didn’t stop her from excelling all her classes. While she was in high school, she met my dad as he was renting a videotape from her sister’s store. They ended up dating and both going to the University of Houston. While they were in college they got married. Right before she was about to graduate college in which she only needed to finish one more class, she ended up having me because of the honeymoon. After that, she decided to not finish college and stayed home to take care of me and then eventually my sister. My mom said that “I was a present,” but in reality, I was the accident…

Today, there are many dreams and traditions that Americas hold. Some of them can be reached, some cannot. Some Americans dream of riches, some dream of curing diseases. Most of their dreams are from the heart. People dream of having a family, with healthy kids. The American dream is really simple to me. It’s having a family, house, job, and one or more cars. Today in society, people have different perspectives on what the “American Dream” is. People worry more about how the economy is doing than how their families are doing. Maybe somebody dreams about being a big sports star, or getting rich quick. Maybe somebody dreams about singing for a living, and making an enormous amount of money. Another common “American Dream” is that you could win millions off the lottery, or gambling. Cities like Los Vegas have been made just for gambling, for people who think that they can get rich quick. Some American’s lose a lot of money and end up being hurt by that dream. Some lose all their money, their houses, and a lot of possessions from gambling. Each one of us many Americans may as well have different perspectives on the “American Dream”, seeing as we are all different. Another part of the “American Dream” would be tradition. Like Christmas, for example. People all over the world celebrate this; it’s even a national holiday. But not everybody is Christian, or believes in Jesus.…
