Hassan Chughtai Mrs. Walsh Language & Literature II A, Period 9 11 June, 2014 WELL SO after Phoebe got off the carousel, she came right up to me and hugged me. That killed me. Kids always go around hugging and being so damn nice to people that it just makes me wanna cry. We then started back home, dripping wet and all, and I felt mighty hungry. Boy was I hungry. I could’ve done anything for some food then. But I didn’t tell Phoebe because I didn’t want to waste anymore of her Christmas dough. She would’ve forced me to eat, if I had just hinted that I was hungry, for chrissake. So anyways, we were walking home, soaking wet from the damn downpour, hungry and all. My red hunting hat didn’t look too spiffy, I’m pretty sure, because it felt flimsy as hell and old Phoebe kept looking at it funny. I wasn’t feeling too bad now, although the thought that my hat was probably done for good didn’t make me feel any better.
