In Mr. Bookman’s case, goals that are appropriate to address right away are a job-training program in order to obtain skills and acquiring a job to financially support Eric. Within the next week, he will contact the department of labor and gather a list of potential on-the-job training programs for adults. Mr. Bookman will contact the training programs and inquire as to his eligibility. He will keep track of the eligibility requirements and program start dates in a log. His goal is to apply for 4 training programs each week and provide his log during the next meeting with the social workers.
