The movie Titanic needed no introductions. When it was released on 1997, this James Cameron romantic epic movie had simply become the highest grossing film ever made until the film with the same director “ Avatar” beat the score in 2009. On 2012, the film were enchanced technologically from 2 dimensional film to 3 dimensional. I and my friends had the chance to become one of the earliest spectator of the film on 5th April 2012.
The film was still the same. The story is about a young man name Jack Dawson a poor free spirited man who met Rose DeWitt Bukater a high status lady on their way to America on the grand Titanic ship. The story revolves around the clash of status and obstacles for the couple to spark their love. However, toward the end, the told to be unsinkable ship crashed through an iceberg and which caused great collision. Many passengers did not survived, some drowned in the ship itself. As it sinks, Jack and Rose ride the stern into the ocean. Jack helps Rose onto a wall panel only able to support one person's weight. Holding the panel's edge, he assures her she will die an old woman, warm in her bed. Meanwhile, Fifth Officer Harold Lowe has commandeered a lifeboat to search for survivors. He saves Rose, but is unable to reach Jack before he dies from hypothermia.
If the film is released back with only the differences of 3D, why many still rushed to watch?
First in my opinion was, the main casts of the film was Leonardo DeCaprio ( Jack Dawson ) and Kate Winslet (Rose Dewitt Bukater ) . When the film were made both of them were very new to the industry. However they fit in the role perfectly making Jack and Rose as one of the most famous on screen couple ever.
Second, the strong storylines. Though the main attention went to the couple, the film feel in deeper meaning as it also show the clashing of social status between other passengers. It also become debate throughout other characters. During the ending we can see that
