Movie Artificial Intelligence Review
The movie Artificial Intelligence was entertaining because of its exciting scenes, therefore making it more pleasurable to watch. The story line dealt with a meca boy that wanted to become down-to-earth and sensible so that his surreal mother (Monica) would love him. The meca David was made so that he could love a human once it was programmed into his system. The problem with this was that he would have unconditional love for his "mother" but would be tremendously difficult and take a great deal of commitment for her to truly love him. She felt this way for the reason that her real son was at a standstill and she could not be a mother to him. David was an unreal but tangible object that could only satisfy her feelings for her partially impaired son. The problem with Artificial Intelligence was that it was very unrealistic and very futuristic which made it far-fetched. There is no problem with this if you are into ultramodern science fiction and you are all right with the fact that it would be a very long time until having a robotic son would be some type of a craze. Personally I liked the movie because of how different it was. Being unrealistic and far-fetched made it more interesting and more enjoyable to watch. Monica held onto her grudge with David once her real son came back even though it was so hard for her to have a son to love. Keeping quiet was hard for her because her real son had come home and he had a party with some of his friends there and they knew that David was meca even know nobody had told them that he actually was. She thought that it was like keeping a secret even though it was never a secret to start. It is so controversial but it hurts to be honest with the one that you love and she

knew that. Once she realized this she knew she had to get David away from their family so she took him far away because she didn't want him to be destroyed. The movie was very pleasurable and I really would like to rent it and watch it

Then again, it is summer all year in the Swintons’ garden, and David obviously does not see himself as just a toy. Important themes are therefore man versus machine, loneliness, and ethical responsibility towards artificial life forms. The text questions whether machines really can replace humans in all aspects. Surely, they can help us with a lot of work, but can they also substitute for social relations with other humans? And if we do succeed in creating a “toy” with human emotions, are we not then obligated to treat “it” with the same respect and care, as we would treat any other living being? A message could be that we must think carefully and thoroughly before letting ourselves get carried away by all the new technologies…

David and Rosalind are cousins, which made their friendship even stronger. David and Rosalind both have a deviation of their own, that no one knew, at first. The deviation they had was they were able to communicate telepathically. They first realized this when David was talking to someone and he found out it was Rosalind. They got to know each other better, and became good cousins, but better friends. "Rosalind rested her hand on my arm." Although the movie seemed to stretch the scientific "evidence" to match their viewpoint, a few enlightening points were made that will affect my own sense of self-awareness and ultimately how I interact with and motivate people. Perhaps the most basic concept the movie tried to convey was the idea that human thought and emotion are actually only a self-serving perception of some "true reality."…

To sum up, Ex Machina contains great complexity and seriousness that require audiences to ruminate. The old fairytale adaptation with a big twist, the role of human on artificial intelligence, and patriarchy and its setback. The writer and director, Alex Garland, delivers these issues with honesty. He shows the world in a very possible consequence of developing androids and asks us to contemplate. Artificial intelligence is a force majeure in the future, and every person should take these issues carefully. Such a great story!…

Within the realm of Artificial Intelligence there are several secs which are responsible for making up that which is A.I. Normally when an individual thinks of Artificial Intelligence a few things come to mind such as the HAL 9000 system, known as “the inimitable star of the classic Kubrick and Clarke film ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’”(Picard 2001), others will think of the movie “Blade Runner”, this film featured an alternate future where a group of individuals were responsible for tracking down cyborg humans known as “Sims” which were so human like they actually were unaware that they weren’t actually humans (Scott, Fancher et al. 2007). These films come to mind because until the late 2000’s this was the closest we ever got to Artificial Intelligence…

Downsides to this movie would be all the missing holes. There are many points of this movie where the viewer could be lost in what is happening. It runs 122 minutes but, it would have been great if it would have run longer. It is one of those movies where it is acceptable to be long. It is so intriguing that the audience wouldn’t mind watching another thirty minutes. It cuts out details that you have to imply or figure out which sometimes makes it hard to follow.…

From the beginning when David was born he obviously didn’t know what was going on. The circumcision operation went wrong which left it in the hands of doctor money to change him into a girl.
