Dear Sir or Madam,
With this letter I would like to support my application for the Crepuq student exchange program at McGill University in Montreal. Why did I decide to apply for such a project, what are the reasons that make me spend so many hours filing my application and, eventually, leaving my comfortable life that I have here, in Geneva, and, of course, making my bachelor degree much harder to obtain? I have numerous reasons, related to my studies, my future professional career, my desire to improve my English and some more personal reasons.
From a school point a view, the McGill’s Desautels faculty of management is not only one of the best business schools in Canada but it also consistently stands, in the various business schools rankings, among the best business schools in North America despite the extremely tough competition of all the famous private United States universities. Having a chance to study in this very institution for an entire academic year is a unique opportunity for any student in business administration and management. Desautels’ academic program is also really impressive with a huge variety of interesting courses, especially, for a student interested in international commerce because the xxxxx University unfortunately does not offer international business courses for the bachelor degree. I selected one for my elective course “Strategies for developing countries”, course that I would really enjoy to attend.
This academic year would be totally inestimable from my professional view. In effect, for my possible future in the business world I would like to orient myself towards an international professional career, thus it is absolutely necessary for me to comprehend the social, economical and political context of this central region of the business world; an academic year would be very helpful by the university courses, discussions and meetings that would permit me to comprehend the
